Slider-Style Mini Burgers

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2013
My family loves this. I make it for all occasions, birthdays, Super Bowl, whatever else. I make it exactly as written, except I drain the beef mixture after cooking, then let it cool and add the cheese and mayo.

Fresh Southern Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2013
We really liked this. I've never made peach cobbler before and this turned out great! I only had 5 peaches so I only used a1.5 qt casserole dish and just barely scaled down the ingredients and it was delicious. We served it with vanilla ice cream.

Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2013
This was SO good. We grilled the chicken and veggies on separate skewers like others said and added just a touch less soy sauce. Other than that, everything was followed exactly how the recipe said except I used less chicken breasts. I used 1.44lbs or chicken breasts which was 2 large breasts. That was just enough sauce for the veggies and the chicken. 8 breasts would need much more sauce.

Sage Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2012
This was really good. I did what others said and took the pork chops out and added corn starch mixed with cold water to the sauce to make it thick. I also didn't add salt and the saltiness was perfect.

Restaurant Style Chicken Nachos

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2011
This was really good. I seasoned the chicken with taco seasoning and added refried beans like others suggested. We ate it for our "movie night." I ate it with guacamole and sour cream. I also didn't have green onions so I left them out and it was still good.

Chocolate Banana Cream Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2011
So good, I've made it many times already. I've done it with and without coconut, both are great. I also leave out the whipped topping and add some sliced almonds on top. I use graham crcker crust like others suggested and milk chocolate morsels. I've done it with banana pudding and vanilla pudding and either way tastes great.

Creamy Pesto Shrimp

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2011
This was so good, but I did change some things based on other reviewers. I used 1T margarine, added garlic, diced tomatoes with basil, oregano, and garlic, used 1 1/2 c heavy cream and 1/2 c 2% milk, and added extra cheese and broccoli. My husband loved it and so did my kids who normally don't eat pasta. They even asked for seconds.

Lazy Daisy Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2011
This is a pretty good cake, but the frosting was super sweet. I took the advice of someone else and cut the butter down some too. I used 5 tbsp instead of 8. I gave it 5 because my sister thinks it's so good she wants me to make it for her wedding rehearsal dinner.

Savory Crab Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2011
This was great! I was looking for a stuffed mushrooms recipe without cream cheese because I didn't have enough and this was perfect! I didn't do the white wine/butter thing at the end and it was still great.

All of my family loved this, I thought it was ok. I did make the recipe exactly and didn't do what other reviewers said. Maybe if I had, it would've been better to me.

I didn't add the artichoke because I don't like it, but the recipe with spinach only was good!

Lobster Ravioli in Tomato Cream Sauce with Shrimp

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2011
I gave this 4 stars because the sauce as is needed some changes. I added more heavy cream and some parmesan cheese to thicken it up. With those additions, it was great.

German Chocolate Cake Frosting II

Everyone loved this. I took the advice of someone else and instead of adding cornstarch I put the heat on high and mixed for a bit to thicken it up. Other than that, I followed it exactly.
