Spiced Applesauce Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2014
Great breakfast bread, moist and tasty. I doubled the cinnamon and nutmeg as suggested but I left out the allspice (did not have any). I used coconut oil, 1/3 sugar, 1/3 brown sugar, and 1/3 Splenda. I know, crazy. The bread bake fine in 60 minutes. This really turned out very nice. I will, made this breakfast bread again.

Asian Lettuce Wraps

We really enjoyed this! The only changes I made was to leave out the ginger and I did not add the extra oil to cook the meat in.

Slammin' Salmon

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2013
Wow, this was the best salmon ever. Really delicious. I marinaded two hours, did not use the peanut oil and only used half the red pepper which I will bump up the next time.

Melt In Your Mouth Blueberry Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2012
The blueberry cake was moist and had a good flavor. Part of enjoying your food is the appearance and this just looked OK. I was actually embarrassed to take it to my event. I should have looked at the other pictures posted.

Tasted great. I would have liked the cheesecake to be denser.

B and L's Strawberry Smoothie

This was really good. I used Spenda in place of the sugar and added 1/2 cup of cool whip which made it very creamy.

Some had bubbles and some did not. We still enjoyed the bread. Next time I'll let it rise more.

Fiesta Rice

We have been a huge fan of Pace® Picante Sauce for years. This was so easy and delicious. I left out the corn and beans and it was still great. Why oh why did I not think of this sooner? I can't imagine having to add other spices unless you're not using Pace® Picante Sauce.

As previously suggested I cut the sugar down to 3/4 cups and it was just right for my family. Muffins were moist with a crisp outside texture.

Quick and Easy Pizza Crust

Pizza crust was OK. Texture was more like bread then a pizza dough. On the positive side it was quick, easy, and crispy.

Chocolate Truffle Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2012
Not sure what happened but my batter was the consistency of mayonnaise after being in the refrigerator for 4 hours. Cookies really spread out but they were yummy. Put dough (batter) in freezer and had better luck. Two stars for the problems, four for the taste.
