Fantastic made-from-scratch strawberry cake! I made cupcakes, but had some leftover batter, so I made a small cake. Sounds weird but my cake was dense, while my cupcakes were light and fluffy. Both were delish, though! I also sifted the flour and then measured again (you'd be surprised at the difference!) and whipped my egg whites and folded them in at the end. I used fresh strawberries and think it made all the difference in the world with the flavoring. This is a keeper! Thanks for sharing. :)
