Fabulous Wet Burritos

Thank you. This native Texan has prepared this recipe a number of times. It's a quick, fun dish. I found the sauce a bit too sweet. I prefer substituting 8 ounces tomato sauce for the tomato soup.

Braided Easter Egg Bread

This delightful bread has many variations on record. This worked for me. I added an extra 1/2 cup flour, and used bread flour. After hearing the milk and butter, I used my bread machine, following standard procedure. For baking, I used polished egg shaped stones covered in foil to hold space for the eggs. My cook time was right at 39 minutes. I dyed hard-boiled eggs to place in the bread at serving. This prevented dye loss, and allowed the eggs to be refrigerated. See photo.

Chipotle Chicken Sandwiches

Quite delicious. I substituted canned San Marcos brand chipotle peppers in adobo sauce (sliced) for the ground pepper. It gave a nicely complex flavor. Would suggest serving it with flour tortillas as a taco. We didn't use the cheese, didn't miss it. Served with a black bean, corn, rice, & pineapple salad topped in tomatillo salsa.

Baked Ziti with Sausage

Delicious, moist comfort food. Adding chopped spinach or thinly sliced zucchini makes a more complex dish, which is also more healthy. Sauteing the onion with the sausage is preferred, and leaving the ricotta mix sauce-less (white) gives better color. I also add mozzarella to the ricotta mix.
