Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast

I had a feeling there was too much water in this recipe. I should have listened to my instincts. Way too watery! The flavor was OK, my husband and I didn't rant & rave over it. The pork loin was very juicy & tender but that is expected when cooking with a crockpot. Next time I'll use a lot less water, if I do this recipe again. As for ANY crockpot roast recipe, I need to remember that the roast makes it's own juice, so not much water is needed.

Grilled Garlic Flank Steak Salad

I had this for lunch because I am eating low-carb to lose weight. My steak was already grilled from the night before. I didn't have Caesar salad dressing and wondered what Light Ranch and a little bit of Heinz 57 would taste like mixed up and it was very yummy (and a little spicy if you use too much 57). Great 'meal' salad!

Sage Pork Chops

I cooked these in the oven at 350 because I had 8 chops. They turned out OK. I don't care for just sage and pepper for the main seasonings for flavor. I left out the salt b/c of the bullion. I did like the beef bullion idea and adding water for extra gravy, which turned out pretty good.

Chili I

Won 2 church chili cook-offs with this recipe! It is best eaten the next day! Don't change the brown sugar... or any amounts of ingredients... Be sure to wear gloves when cutting the peppers... Yummy stuff!
