Marinade for Steak I

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2011
What I like most about this marinade is that it uses ingredients that I have on hand. It does the job and it does it well! It's even better than my moms marinade...now that's saying something!!

Sky High Yorkshire Pudding

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2010
These are the best Yorkshire puddings I have ever made! My husband and my Father in Law both said they were better than the ones they had at the previous night at the Best Western banquet. I will be making these again and again!

Strawberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2010
With the added 1/2 t cinnamon and 1/4 c brown sugar these were absolutely the best muffins EVER! I've never had strawberry muffins before - these are excellent. The kids even chose these over the double chocolate chip muffins I made...now that says something!!!

Sundried Tomato Basil Pesto Chicken Wrap

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2010
Delicious! I made this for a girls lunch the other day and everyone loved it. The crunchiness of the apple and the warmth of the wrap, coupled with delicious tomato pesto and walnuts...oh boy! It's a keeper for sure! They all wanted the recipe!

Shepherd's Pie VI

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2010
I gave this 4 stars because I made some changes to it to get it just right. Like many other reviewers I added 1/4 cup worchestershire sauce, 2 Tablespoons of ketchup, and 1 crushed clove of garlic to the meat mixture. I did add sour cream to the mashed potatoes because mine seemed to dry. Next time I would omit the onion in the potatoe mixture too. It is a tad on the blad side....so dont be afraid to add the full 1/4 cup worchestershire sauce. I have yet to try it but I think making it with the gravy instead of the broth, like others have suggested, would add a nice punch of flavor.

Delicious Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2010
These are good cookies. I chose them because they did not contain butter and I substituted the milk for soy milk as I have a daughter with "cows milk protein allergy". The only other thing I changed was I added a full cup of peanut butter instead of the recommended 3/4 cup. I'll keep this receipe for sure! thanks!

Sloppy Joe Sandwiches

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2009
The best sloppy joes I've ever made and tasted! My picky husband gobbled them up and thought they were way better than the manwich. This recipe is definitly a keeper! I doubled it, and next time I'll triple it. Mmmmmm!

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2009
When your super picky toddler says, "mmmmm" after taking her first bite then you know you have a winner. She wanted to know where the chocolate chips were though...tee hee. The only two things I did differently were as follows: 1) I used whole wheat flour instead of white, and 2) I was nervous to bake the muffins at 375 so I did them at 350 and regretted it. I should have followed the directions! My bad!

Sour Cream Rhubarb Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2009
This pie is very good. I didn't use the crumble top, I just put a regular crust on top AND I used 4 cups of rhubarb instead of the recommended 3 and it turned out great! I quite liked the flavor that the 2 spices add to it! This is a keeper!
