About this Cook
I am a newly married , love cooking and baking, especially for my WONDERFUL husband Logan! Trying to find the perfect balance between healthy, good tasting and what he and I are both used to is a fun challange.
My favorite things to cook
Baking is still probably my favorite , although I love to find healthy new meals that will impress my husband.
My cooking triumphs
No bake cheesecake.
My cooking tragedies
The time i used baking SODA not baking POWDER in a Baking Powder Biscuit recipe. They rose just beautifully, but when I served them for breakfast, it became necessary to find something else to eat. :)

All-Day Apple Butter
This turned out well, with a few adjustments. I added only 2 cups of sugar instead of 4, and once the lid came off it took more like 6 hours to finally thicken enough. maybe straining it would get the same affect, I might try that if I make it again. Overall a good recipe though!

Mexican Potato Nachos
Made this for my mother in law on Cinco De Mayo when my husband was out of town for work. I was a bit skeptical but we both LOVED this! Super easy, cheap, great variety means you dont have to use alot of each ingredient!

Angel Hair Pasta with Garlic Shrimp and Broccoli
SOoo good! I made this for lunch and the whole family loved it! It was all gone and even my dad asked what it had in it and said it was DELICIOUS!! I used cream cheese instead of the cream which gave it a little more saltiness.
