About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
I love to make potato soup, turkey soup and lasagna. They all take a lot of time but they’re worth it in the end!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love to bake. When I was younger, my dad made cinnamon bread several times a year. It was simply the most delicious thing ever. I’ve been addicted to bread since and have been trying to master his skills.

High Five Orange Rolls
These were very good - moist and flavorful. I put cinnamon and brown sugar in the filling instead (I love cinnamon) and loved the combination of orange and cinnamon. Even my husband, who is picky about sweets, loved them. For fun, I also used the recipe to make cinnamon bread (cutting out the orange juice and extract and exchanging it for extra water (and/or milk) and vanilla extract. I liked the bread too!

Chef John's Ricotta Meatballs
I followed the recipe except baked the meatballs at 425 degrees for 15-20 min. Worked great! Next time I might add a little more garlic to up the flavor. Overall, great meatball recipe!

Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo
Very good. I added fresh mushrooms and doubled the sauce as I like more sauce than not.
