Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2009
I've traveled to the Keys many times just to have Key lime pie. Had a recipe many years ago from a dear friend of mine that lived in Key West. This recipe was the bomb, It was better than I have ever had.Wouldn't change a thing.

Made them last night. And they were so good! My old great gramma and gramma use to make them, we called them raw potato dumplings, Due to not cooking the potato before making the dumplings.I can never get enough of good German food, I lov it!

Kartoffel Kloesse (Potato Dumplings)

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2009
They tasted great! I let the potatoes cool off completely before I mixed up the batch. I omitted the nutmeg and added some onions instead. The flavor was great when I poured on my pork/wine gravy.

Mother's Pasties

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2009
These pasties are the real thing ,my Mom use to make them and she was from Ironwood,Michigan. Knew the story of the miners enjoying them to.My mother sometimes would grate everything alittle finer and put it into a 12 inch pie pan.And serve the pasty by the slice it was soo flavorful.I,m glad it cooling off outside.because the oven will be baking some pasties soon. Thanks for sharing.
