Chocolate Layer Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2009
I had the same problem not knwoing how much baking powder to add, so i added 1/2 tsp, still too little. Cake was sorta dry. This recipe is not bad, but you can for sure find something better thats just as easy.

Mocha Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2010
These muffins are the muffins for coffee lovers! I saw that some people added extra coffee, so I added 4 TBSP disolved in 3TBSP water, definitely too much. I also reduced sugar to 1 cup and used a little less chocolate chips then called for. The chocolate chip and banana already has a nice strong flavor, the extra coffee made the muffins a little too bitter and almost sour. Next time I make them I will follow the recipe exactly.

Perfect Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2010
I made thsi pie for my boyfriend to bring to pot luck lunch at school. It was gone long before the turkey was gone. I used pumpkin pie filling instead of pumpkin puree but still added all the flavorings called for as my boyfriend specifcally asked for a stronger cinnamon flavor. It was extremely easy to make. All in all, best pumpkin pie recipe EVER!

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2010
My boyfriend said it was the best cheesecake or the best pumpkin pie he's ever had. It's a winner in both categories! I used pumpkin pie filling as well and skipped the spices.

Lavender Tea Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2010
I didnt't have lemon extract, so I used 1/4 TSP orange extract, they turned out fine. Also I only had to bake for 12 minutes, buy mine also weren't very crispy, th texture resembled shortbread cookies, which I liked a lot.

Chocolate Mint Cookies I

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2010
Awesome recipe. I follwed someone else's advice and added 1/4 TSP ofmint extract. I also made my balls really big so 1 batch only made 18 cookies, and were baked for 11 minutes. I also used 2 Andes candies for each cookie. So if you like big cookies double the batch and buy more Andes!

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2009
I baked there cuz my boyfriend was craving peanut butter cookies. I followed the advice to replace white sugar with half white sugar and 1/4 brown sugar and added a splash of vanilla extract. I also used crunchy peanut butter and made them bigger(6 cookies on 1 cookie sheet), therefore had to bake them for 10 minutes. My boyfriend said they were the best peanut butter cookies he's ever had, and they were even better than his grandmother's! This recipe really doesn't make that many cookies tho, I multiplied the recipe by 4 times, and got 24 big cookies, so make sure you at least double the recipe so you don't end up with 6 cookies... Good Luck!
