No Bake Double Good Dessert
Although it went fast at the party, I am giving it four stars because I had to change the recipe. Unless you don't mind having your teeth fall out from the sugar content, I would recommend you lower the amount of sugar. You can add it in increments until you find what works for you (since you don't have to bake it, this part is easy). I changed it to five tablespoons. To me, that was perfect. Oh, yeah, and I added chocolate syrup and dulce de leche swirls on top.

Cranberry Pistachio Biscotti
Wow! These are good! I followed the recipe exactly except that I used extra virgin olive oil because I hadn't noticed that it called for light olive oil. Amazingly good. I did something wrong, though, because mine came out a bit soft even after I left them in the oven to cool with the door slightly open instead of letting them cool on the counter. Also, they were so easy and fast to make. Before I knew it I had finished preparing the dough. I actually blurted out, "That's it?"

Classic Waffles
Fabulous basic recipe. My family thoroughly enjoyed it. I like that it uses butter. Those recipes that require oil leave a nasty taste. I must say it tasted a bit bland when I followed the recipe, so the second time I made a few changes. I couldn't stand the idea of my family having so much butter, so I cut the butter down to 2 TBSP, added 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, added an additional tbsp of white sugar and 1 tbsp of brown sugar (next time I'm going to try all brown sugar), and increased the warm milk to 1 3/4 cup to make up for the liquid lost in not using so much butter. They came out delicious! We enjoyed them plain without any syrup or anything. My son is on his fourth or fifth waffle and he's only seven.
