Baked Potato Soup III

Really good...I added some garlic too for a little flavor, and added milk when reheating (which it also does well) because it was a little thick.

The success of this recipe seems to be highly dependent on the BBQ sauce you use - the stuff I used didn't taste that great, but I'll try it again with a different, milder sauce.

A classic in my book...I've made it several times and its always great. Don't substitute milk for cream though, it's just not the same! And using cream of chicken soup "with herbs" added a nice touch.

Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas

It may just be my oven, but they needed to cook a lot longer than the recipe specified - when I took them out the onions inside were still almost raw. Next time I think I will sautee the onions first. Very tasty though.

English Roast Beef

I wasn't crazy about the taste, but I'm not a big fan of roast beef anyway. My boyfriend loved it, and it was not too dry or anything. I'll probably keep this recipe around if I make roast again!

Honey Glazed Ham

This was great, I'm giving it 4 stars though because I made some alterations. I substituted brown sugar for honey, and used a couple pinches of ground cloves mixed in, instead of studding the ham with cloves.

My Crab Cakes

My first attempt at crab cakes and they turned out great! I was a little skeptical about the canned crab meat but I used it because the grocery store didn't have any fresh. Still they turned out great. Next time I will cut down the cayenne to make them a little less spicy.

Best Hot Crab Dip

I've made this a few times with both canned and fresh crab meat; it's always a hit! Cook it in a larger pan than 8x8 though, otherwise it's too full and doesn't heat in the middle.

Coconut Ambrosia Salad

This is one of my favorite dessert-snacks. I like it with less Cool Whip though, so I usually double the fruit and keep the rest the same. Still good with fat free Cool Whip too.
