This was my first time making irish soda bread. I researched different recipes and decided this one was the best to try. I made one yesterday afternoon. It came out soooo good, I made three more last night to share with friends. I made a couple of changes: for the 3 cups of raisins, I used half regular raisins and hal golden raisins. Before I put the raisins into the dough mixture, I dropped them into hot water for three mintues, then drained them really well. This made the raisins much more plump. Also...I only used 2 tsps of caraway seeds, and it was perfect. This recipe is definitely a keeper. I think it's the sour cream htat really makes it great. xo
