Poppy Seed Chicken II

I follow the recipe as written except: I use cream of chicken with herbs soup this helps with the "flavorlessness" complaint ( or add your own herbs to soup) I also season the chicken. My result is chicken in a creamy sauce with a buttery crumb topping. I've made it several times with no complaints.

Vegetable Chowder

I used the frozen mirepoix mix for the chopped parts and the frozen vegetable mix (italian) for the veggies. I also substituted soy mix for milk and chicken broth (3 c) for the bouillon, added seasoned salt and it was delicious!!

Sausage Corn Chowder

I have made this soup successfully several times and here are my suggestions: -always use sage sausage -don't peel potatoes for rustic look/feel -half the amount of potatoes (add to your preference) -add potato flakes to thicken and cut simmering time -be generous with the majoram (powder also works) Good Luck!
