Squash Braid

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2011
This bread turned out pretty and delicious! I used instant yeast as that is what I had on hand, a box of frozen winter squash which lessened the work for me, and used white whole wheat flour for the all-purpose flour. This was easy to make!

Cream Cheese Brownies

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2011
Delicious! I did not add any chips to the brownies, but I did use 4 oz cream cheese instead of 3. I also did not use the frosting as my family does not normally frost our brownies. Very good recipe!

Tuna Noodle Casserole from Scratch

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2011
This was delicious! I was delighted to find such a good recipe for tuna noodle casserole that did not use canned soup. I did use the suggestions that were made by cookinggardener and as a personal preference I left out the mushrooms. Will definitely be making again!

Apple Bavarian Torte

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2011
This was a wonderful dessert! My family raved about it! I used a mixture of canned pears and 1 large Granny Smith apple. I also used almond extract in place of the vanilla and did not include the almonds. I baked this in a tart pan to make a prettier edge crust. Beautiful presentation and delicious to eat!

Very tasty! I did substitute applesauce for half of the butter and my batter was rather sticky even after refrigerating, but these cookies turned out great!

These were wonderful! Healthy and delicious! I used all white whole wheat flour and buttermilk instead of soy milk. I also used applesauce for the olive oil. These were so good my 2 year old, husband, and I enjoyed them plain!

Apricot Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2011
Sooo good! This was the BEST quick bread I have ever made. The only changes I made was following some other reviewers' suggestions, I used white whole wheat flour for half the all-purpose and added a little more butter (applesauce) and oj than what was called for. This bread disappeared so quickly that I am planning on making it again next week! Thanks for such an awesome recipe!

Delicious and simple. Everyone enjoyed this! As another reviewer suggested, I did cut up the crescent dough before baking so each square could have a crust.

Libby's® Pumpkin Cranberry Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2010
This was very good! I did change a few things to make it a little healthier. I did 2 scant cups white sugar and 3\4 brown sugar, 1\2 cup vegetable oil and 1\2 cup applesauce, and dried cranberries soaked in warmed orange juice because I didn't have fresh cranberries. Delicious!
