Excellent dish. I cut back on the lemon and have made with and without mustard. Both versions are tasty. I added ham once and proscuitto another time. I also use whatever cheese I have but provolone slices work best. I also put some of the sauce in the center for extra flavor. I have even made it without the asparagas and it doesn't look as pretty but still tasted great. The asparagas cooks fast so if you can cover it with foil you may be aable to protect them a bit from overcooking.
