I am a proud wife to one GREAT man of 14 years! Without his love for trying new recipies(some really strange ones by using what I have in the pantry)I woud not have grown so much in the kitchen.I was 18 when we first got together and knew NOTHING about a kitchen.I was raised between family members and never had a mother influince to look up to and was never aloud in any kitchen, but always would try to get a sneep peek at how my Aunt Lou made her outstanding country patato salad. I am a mother of 5,yes 5 great kids. also have the privilige to be a Home Maker,so I'm always trying new ways to better the everyday meal to a new wow! We have a large garden so were able to save lots of money. We have 2 daughters & 3 sons,in that order, and I often get strange looks when they see my sons in the kitchen or garden most don't feel like I should have our boys learning "a female thing". On ALL times of the year we do all the intertaining for the intire family. They never mind eating EVERYTHING on the
My favorite things to cook
After school suprises for my kids and their friend for when they get off the school bus! The cuties cupcakes for theme parties or snackes for backpack. Love to bake homemade bread.Enjoy finding new way to eat from our garden and my kids and love it when every other weekend we bake an entire meal from scatch and go down to the shelter and we all give grace and enjoy to see the peoples faces full with smiles!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I never grew up with a cooking tradition.Since my husband and I first got together we have always been in the kitchen together!!Now as parents our tradition is the whole family in the kitchen cooking our feast together!
