Scott Hibb's Amazing Whisky Grilled Baby Back Ribs

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2013
Just made this recipe Saturday night and it was a HUGE hit! We got ribs in Arkansas that were supposedly the best ribs ever, but everyone said these were the best! Fell right off the bone! Thanks for the great recipe, Scott. Will definitely make these again (soon)!

Shrimp and Crab Bisque

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2012
I just got done eating a bowl of this and have to add my comment. This is the best seafood bisque I have ever had. We always like to try it when we go different places to eat and only 1 time found one that was very comparable. I triple the recipe in order to get about 4 large bowls of bisque. I omit the onion and wine, but add Old Bay and red pepper seasoning. It's a staple in our home. I make it several times a year...especially when I see lump crab go on sale. Thanks Katrina!

Blueberry Dump Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2012
Just got done eating this and YUM! I tried the suggestion of using a peeler to lay thin pads of butter over the cake mix and that, I think, was easier than trying to sprinkle melted butter over it all. There were a few dry cakey areas after baking so I threw a couple more pads of butter on and stuck it back in the oven for 5 minutes. Perfect! It truly was simple and delicious. Boyfriend liked it too!

Black Bean Hummus

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2011
This was my first attempt at making my own hummus. Everyone tells me I won't buy store bought once I try homemade. I'm glad I picked this one first, with it being so flavorful and all. The others sound like you need to tweak them. This was wonderful just the way it's stated.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2011
I just finished my 2nd helping of this, thanks to a friend bringing it into work. I came out here only to find the recipe and to print it. I thought I made the best chicken pot pie but now my recipe became second best. Good job Robbie!

Sloppy Joes II

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2011
I have made this twice now and got rave reviews both times. The 2nd time I tripled the recipe and used only 4 T. brown sugar and it was still plenty sweet. I threw in some diced jalapeno peppers that I had frozen from the summer garden. Several friends asked how I made it. Thanks Tamara!!

Habanero Cookies

These are awesome! I did the milk treatment twice too. Still had a bite..a bit delayed but it was there. The cookie flavor was wonderful also. Thanks for the recipe and the new way to use up my peppers!

Green Grape Salad

Reviewed: May 26, 2010
So delicious and refreshing! My neighbor had me over for a make-up party last night and this was one of her desserts. So of course I came here, first thing today, to find the recipe. This has all the ingredients she mentioned. Can't wait to make it for a Memorial Day party!

Seafood Enchiladas

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2009
I agree with DSHIP2, this recipe is excellent as written. I recently had this at a local restaurant and searched for the recipe and now I have found it. Only thing I changed was the cheese. Didn't have Colby on hand, so used shredded Mexican and it was excellent! Thank you, Cathy, for sharing your recipe!

Whiskey Slush

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2009
This is one of my favorite recipes. I have been making it for years and always have it in my freezer during the summer. I also add maraschino cherries, plus some of the juice. I use Amaretto instead of whiskey, making it more like an Amaretto slush. Is much smoother. I will try limeade next time. Never thought of that. And it's wonderful with Fresca or Sprite, instead of Ginger Ale.

Blueberry Crumb Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2009
This is my first review. It was worth signing up for. This was the best blueberry pie I ever made. The only thing I did was cut the sugar back to 1/2 cup, per another review, and it couldn't have been more perfect. Used fresh blueberries. Thank you Miss Bethany!
