Asparagus Quiche

Asparagus with Parmesan Crust

Delicious and super easy! This is a keeper! Only change is that I marinate the asparagus in olive oil, crushed garlic and balsamic in a bag for a bit before putting in the oven. Great way to make asparagus!

Lemon Cupcake with Blackberry Buttercream

Amazingly delicious! 5 stars for taste! Rave reviews from the family. Only change I made was that I used red raspberry preserves instead of blackberry simply because that is what I had. It worked perfectly. So lemony and refreshing - the flavors compliment eachother wonderfully. As written the recipes does NOT produce 24 cupcakes, I got 16 out of mine. I cut the frosting in half and had the perfect amount to frost 16 cupcakes...if I would have made the entire amount of frosting it would have been way too much.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

This was really, really good. My husband loved it. So, 5 stars for taste, but 4 stars as written. I reduced the butter by half and it was still too buttery and runny. I am not even sure this needs the butter - maybe 1 tablespoon? I will make again but with little or no butter.

Fiber One® Chocolate-Peanut Butter Haystacks

5 stars for the idea - not the recipe. We dislike Fiber One - tastes like cardboard so we used a low carb Kashi cereal and 70% dark chocolate with natural PB. So yummy with no guilt! Point is, this recipe is flexible - use what you like.

Smothered Filet Mignon

This was delicious. I followed the recipe as written except I reduced the sugar slightly and didnt bother with one side of the grill being hotter than the other. Someone complained about the blue cheese - saying it overwhlemed the meat - please don't skimp on the blue cheese!!! The blue cheese, along with the yummy marinade, makes the recipe! If we didn't want a blue cheese taste we would not have selected this recipe! Glad I made this for our anniversary dinner...Can't wait to make again soon!

Grill Master Chicken Wings

WOW! Best wings ever! Since we don't like hot, I used mild wing sauce in place of the hot pepper sauce - other than that followed to a T. This is the only way we will eat wings from now on! Delicious!

Fudge Truffle Cheesecake

Very good. Husband loved it. Daughter said she could only eat a small bite due to the heaviness and overwhelming chocolate. Me? I am in between - it is very good but be warned - a tiny slice is best otherwise you may not feel well - it is that heavy and rich. I followed to a T and left in oven with oven off and door ajar for about 45 minutes...this was perfect - and no cracks!

This is 5 stars in my book with a slight modification - I decreased the nutmeg to a 1/4tsp and added a 1/4tsp of cinnamon. This was easy with simple ingredients and they tasted like mini donuts! My family loved them! Thank you!

Salmon with Creamy Dill Sauce

Excellent! Only made a few small changes - no salts instead used onion and garlic powder, no capers or brine (didn't have any) and no horseradish (don't like). For the onions I used red. This was a 5 star dish. I have some dill sauce left over and can't wait to use it on fish tacos!
