About this Cook
Stay at home Mom of teenage daughters and homemaker with homes in NY and FL.Summer/Early Fall in New York, Winter/Spring in Southwest Florida. Love to travel, do all sorts of crafts, sew. I also love to walk and workout on a daily basis. I enjoy cooking for my family, especially when we are at our country home in NY.
My favorite things to cook
Healthy meals! Anything with fresh veggies and/or lean meats and fish. I enjoy making healthy soups as well. My family also loves when I bake dessert!
My favorite family cooking traditions
We go all out for holidays! My home is always seasonally decorated and I love to create desserts and food specific to the season or holiday! My table is always done - with placements, napkins and a centerpiece to match the season!
My cooking triumphs
Cupcakes - I am very creative when it comes to making them and decorating them! They always look and taste amazing!
My cooking tragedies
None that I can remember...:)

Salmon with Creamy Dill Sauce
Excellent! Only made a few small changes - no salts instead used onion and garlic powder, no capers or brine (didn't have any) and no horseradish (don't like). For the onions I used red. This was a 5 star dish. I have some dill sauce left over and can't wait to use it on fish tacos!

LC'S Sweet Potato Fries
This was a good way to make these. Usually, I bake them and they burn a bit. This way seems better but you must watch them closely the last 5 min or so because they can start to burn quick. The seasoning was spot on, I just added a touch more garlic because we love garlic. Will make again!

Classic Peanut Butter Cookies
Good, basic peanut butter cookie. I added a drop of vanilla and some chocolate chips. Family loved them!
