Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2014
This is one of the few pancake batters you can PREPARE AHEAD and store in the fridge until you're ready to cook (overnight). We add 1tsp lemon extract and blueberries (in the morning). Chocolate chips and 1 tsp vanilla is very good too! They are always wonderful. The store bought mix will be tasteless after making your own.

Caesar Salad Supreme

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2011
Very good. I added the oil (maybe 1-2 tsp) of the anchovies' can. It seemed so thick! Put it all in the food processor. Very easy.

Our family loves it. It's so much richer than anything store bought. We add 1/2 diced red or green pepper.

They always turn out! We love to mix up the dough and keep it in the fridge. We always have fresh warm cookies! Also, they freeze (baked) beautifully.

Delicious! Cut the sugar by 1/2 cup, used half oil and half apple sauce. Still good and very moist.

Grandma VanDoren's White Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2009
It's hard to mess up this recipe. We make it twice a month instead of sandwich bread from the store. Grilled cheeses are delicious with this bread! This last time, I made 2 loaves and about 10 rolls in a muffin pan. I made a rectangle, sprinkled basil and rolled it up like cinnamon rolls. Let it rise in muffin pan until double and bake at 350 for 15-20 mins. If you brush the loaves and rolls with egg wash---Wow!! Thank you for this family favorite recipe!

Super-Delicious Zuppa Toscana

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2009
We love it!! Maybe a bit spicy, so we've cut the pepper flakes to 1/4 teaspoon. Great way to ear fresh spinach and we pile it on the plate before pouring the soup so it begins to wilt when you eat it. Great recipe!!!
