About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
I love to make twice baked potatoes. Stir fry's are quick and easy and healthy.
My cooking triumphs
I made the best corned beef and cabbage!! I also make great twice baked potatoes. The secret is a lot of onion salt.
My cooking tragedies
I boiled a pot of water once and forgot I was boiling it. I came back home and the apartment smelled really bad. The pot was also bent. Good thing I didn't burn down the apartment.

Chewy Sugar Cookies
These were so good I couldn't even wait for them to cool. I ate them right out of the oven and they were really soft :)

Pumpkin Pie Bread
I made this using pumpkin pie filling since the store didn't have canned pumpkin. It came out great!! I made some cinnamon honey butter to put on it. Yum!!

Basic Hummus
This was really good!! I use 6 tablespoons of lemon juice like another reviewer said. I used 3 tablespoons of minced garlic,1 tsp of cumin, 2 tablespoons of roasted sesame seeds, 1 tablespoon of paprika, and I used all the juice that was reserved. Of course the high calorie hummus from the store is going to taste better, but for just a few calories this is really good :) It says basic in the title so it shouldn't come with whistles and bells. :)
