The texture was great, crusty on the outside, soft on the inside, but I found the flavor to be a bit lacking. This recipe definitely needs to be tinkered with a little bit for more flavor. We had them the first night as rolls with spaghetti and meatballs and they were OK. We had the leftovers the next night with French Dip Sandwiches and once the bread soaked up the flavor from the au jus, they were fabulous! Also, mine were done in only 14 minutes, so keep an eye on them! Also, how in the world do you make them look nice?? I will definitely give this another try.
