Good Ol' Alabama Sweet Tea

I personally find this to be toothache inducing sweet. Not so good at all. But, I need to dispute the fact you can't get this up north. I'm from PA and my family makes this ALL the time. I myself do not like it, but it's been a staple at my family reunions since I was a little girl. To make this even remotely appetizing, you need to at **least** half the sugar.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Sugar Cookie Glaze

Sickeningly sweet, almost tooth ache inducing. Wow, I could barely finish a cookie. But, I took them to a pre-school party and the kids really liked them. Though, I'd not want them to have too many, this could cause cavities! The only change I made was to add milk instead of water. They did dry shiny and hard, and dried quickly. They stood up well to color. But, the taste is just not going to work for anyone without a serious sweet tooth. Two stars only because the kids liked them so much.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

First time my sugar cookies have ever turned out! I had been using the Betty Crocker in the pouch, but will now stick with these! Sturdy to stand up to glazing, but also a softer cookie. Everyone really loved them!

Hot Dog a la Potato

My husband grew up on these. The first time he asked me to make them for him, I figured it was just one of his mom's oddball recipes, as she is prone to them. Now I see this recipe and I realize she wasn't alone! I personally think it's rather nasty, but hubby sure loves them!

Toll House® Mini Morsel Pancakes

Delish! Tasted almost like a chocolate chip cookie! I followed the recipe and found that I had more than enough milk, even though other reviewers suggested there wasn't enough. I'd not change a thing!

Streusel Topped Blueberry Muffins

These were just OK. I know muffin batter is thick, but this was entirely too thick to be usable. Half cup of milk is just not enough. I had to add quite a bit more to get to "thick". These just weren't as good as I was expecting them to be. The streusel melted right into the muffins, and there wasn't enough of it. I doubled the mix and could have tripled it. The muffin itself is kind of bland. But they baked up soft and the kids at pre-school really liked them. But, I'll be looking for another recipe to try.

Whipped Cream Cream Cheese Frosting

It has a good taste but I can't get it to a piping consistency, even after sitting in the fridge for a while. I did color it with liquid coloring, but it wasn't pipeable prior to that. I beat the cream to a super thick consistency and it didn't help at all. This really isn't even good for spreading it's so thin. I ended up dipping my cupcakes upside down in the frosting, then sticking them in a bowl of sprinkles to cover up the mess. I'm not sure what happened here, but I don't think I'll be trying this one again.

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

I increased the cocoa to one cup and decreased the water to 3/4 cup. Otherwise, left everything else the same. It tasted a bit odd the first day, but by day 2, it was pretty good. I used Peanut Butter frosting with it, and everyone seemed to like it.

Quick Angel Hair with Basil Cream for One

No one in my family liked this except for my 3 year old son, who 100% cleaned his plate, which is highly unusual. My husband kept complaining it tasted too much like scampi, which he doesn't really like. I just didn't really like the taste too much. Sorry, won't be making this one again.

Cheddar Baked Chicken

Excellent chicken! I added more spices to the flour mixture to kick up the flavor. I also subbed Stove Top stuffing for the cereal, I just crushed it up finely. And I used mozz cheese instead of cheddar. Excellent, and we will have it again!

French Toast Waffles

Well, I don't know that they tasted like French toast, but they were good, nevertheless. I doubled the recipe for my Belgian waffle maker and got 4 waffles with a bit of batter left over. I followed the recipe exactly, other than doubling it. If I made it again, I might add some maple syrup into the batter to see how that turned out.

Chicken Piccata II

Excellent! I followed the recipe almost exactly. I bought thin cutlets, and they worked out great. The only change I made was to lessen the lemon juice in the sauce at the end. I used only 1 tbsp and it was perfect. I'll definitely make this again!

Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies II

I didn't see the note about not doubling the recipe, and I did double it. They came out perfectly fine. Maybe they won't hold up during storage, but for now, they are nice and soft, so not sure what that issue is. Anyway, I doubled the recipe, and other than adding in some MM bits, I kept it just the same. Pretty good, nothing spectacular. I'll probably make them again.

Cinnamon Belgian Waffles

Excellent taste! The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because they weren't very crispy, and we like our waffles crispier. But the taste was phenomenal, and I will surely make these again! The only change I made was to add more cinnamon.

Magic Peanut Butter Middles

Delish! My whole family loved these! I did have to freeze the PB part, it was impossible to work with. Once frozen, it worked out fine. I also added a splash of milk to the chocolate part to make it a bit easier to work with. What I did was grab a blob of chocolate and flatten it in my hand, then put the PB in the center and work the chocolate up around it to make a ball. I also rolled them in sugar before putting on the cookie sheet. Flattened them just a bit. Perfect!!! I have to make more, my family really loves them!
