I don't know if I'd call these to die for, but they were pretty good. I used the texas style pan and the recipe only made six muffins and that was barely enough to fill the tins three quarters of the way, let alone make eight muffins as the recipe stated. They rose nicely, although not as much as I'd hoped. I doubled the amount of blueberries and eliminated the topping, choosing instead to dust the tops with sugar before baking. The batter turned purple, but that may have been because I used frozen blueberries, and it's no big deal anyway. Like I said, these are very good muffins, and I think with some modifications or additions, these could be incredible, and I'll try them again.
