Best Tuna Casserole
Ok, this was delicious! I made just a couple minute changes.
First, in a little olive oil I sauteed onion, 2 cloves of garlic, a handful of chopped fresh parsley and 4 fresh mushrooms chopped. Meanwhile boiling the noodles. After the onions were tender, I added the peas to the same pan and heated through. When the noodles were done I placed them in a bowl with the remaining ingredients and because I had read a few reviews stating the casserole was dry, I added 1 Cup of milk and 1 Cup of sour cream. I also put the 2 Cups of Cheddar in the mixture. I mixed it well and added salt and pepper, and put it into the 9x13 and topped it with an additional cup of cheddar, some french fried onions, and a 1/4 Cup of shredded parmesan, that I had mixed. I baked it for the recommended time and it was FABULOUS! My family of six devoured it!
