Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: May 6, 2011
This is THE best recipe for chicken thighs EVER! I made this for company and they raved about it and asked when I'd be making it again! I tend to like things on the sweet side so I did add more sugar, mostly Splenda, and mixed it with some brown sugar because I thought the vinegar was too "bitey" and strong. I also lined the pan with foil and I didn't cover it while baking which help carmelize the sauce. It was DELICIOUS and my husband already asked when I'll be making it again! Thanks for a GREAT recipe!

Fluffy Lemon Fruit Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2010
I made this for dinner when company was coming and they devoured it! I followed the recipe to a T and it came out perfect. I'm glad I didn't add more lemon because it had more of a cheesecake flavor. I did prepare it a day ahead and refrigerated it overnight which helped the consistency and flavor. It was WONDERFUL and I'll definitely be making it again! Thanks for sharing such a great recipe.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2010
These muffins are delicious! The muffins themselves aren't too sweet and the crunchy topping adds just enough sweetness. The only problem is that I can't leave them alone! Thanks for a great recipe and I'll be making this one again and again!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2010
BLESS YOU GRANDMA OPLE! I made my first ever apple pie today and used this recipe. It was fabulous and I won't use any other apple pie recipe now that we know how great this one is. THANKS SO MUCH FOR PASSING ON GRANDMA'S RECIPE!! I'd give it 10 stars if I could!

Southern Pecan Pie I

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2010
I made this for the first time and it got RAVE reviews! It was so easy to make and the only thing I changed, based on another review, was added 1 TBSP. of vanilla. I used 1-1/2 cups of pecans and thought that was plenty. I covered just the edges of the pie crust for the first 45 minutes and then removed the foil and the crust browned nicely. I also didn't remove it from the oven until the middle of the pie didn't "jiggle" anymore and it was perfect. Will make another one today for my Dad's birthday party tomorrow. My family LOVED it and wants more!

All-Around Good Smoothie

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2010
I love this drink and have it for lunch every day. I'm trying to lose weight and this is a BIG help. I made a few changes to fit what I like. I haven't used a banana because I didn't have any on hand so I doubled the berries. I've used blueberries, strawberries and peaches since that's what I have in my freezer. They were ALL good! I use vanilla in place of the honey as I think it gives it better flavor. I also use flax meal instead of flax seed and that works wonders! I did follow the one reviewer's suggestion and used OJ instead of milk and that was also good. You can tweak this any way you want and it would still be good. Very easy and quick to make and will continue drinking them as they are very filling. Thanks for a great recipe!

This dish was awesome - best ever for certain! I followed the recipe exactly and we loved it! I'll be making the sauce again to freeze and it will be our only spaghetti sauce from now on. Thanks for such a GREAT recipe!

Satiny Chocolate Glaze

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2009
This was very creamy and good. The next time I may add some extra sugar because I like things just a little sweeter. That's just a personal preference. This was very good on yellow bundt cake that had chocolate chips in it. Thanks for a great recipe!

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2009
My husband and I really liked this cake. I used what I had on hand; yellow cake mix, SF cheesecake pudding and I used 2 cups of SS chocolate chips. Based on other reviews I used 1/2 cup oil and 1/3 cup milk instead of 1 cup oil; also used egg whites instead of eggs. I made the Satiny Chocolate Glaze from this website for the topping. I will definitely make this cake again and use different cake mixes/puddings for other great tastes. I LOVE this recipe site! Thanks for a great cake!

Zucchini Herb Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2009
This dish is fantastic and we loved it! I also made some changes after reading the reviews which are VERY helpful. I used one cup of Brown Minute Rice; red onion because that's what I had on hand; doubled all the spices and used 2 cups of extra sharp cheddar cheese. It was fantastic and THE best way to use all the zucchini and tomatoes coming in from the garden. I'll be making this again for certain!! Thanks for a GREAT recipe!

Big Al's K.C. Bar-B-Q Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2009
We tried this BBQ sauce and it will be the only one we make from now on. It's thick and delicious! We will probably cut back on the vinegar and add a bit more brown sugar but, all in all, you can't go wrong with this recipe. I'm not a spice lover but this has just the right amount to add a bite to the sauce without being overdone. Thanks for a great recipe!
