Angel Hair Pasta with Shrimp and Basil

Irene's Barbeque Sauce

Exquisite Pizza Sauce

This is the best pizza sauce recipe I have ever made. It's not sweet and it has a little kick to it. My four children like it better than carry out pizza. It's great on top of "Jay's Signature Pizza Crust".

Stuffed Green Peppers I

Chicken Fajita Marinade

5-Minute Guacamole

This is an excellent guacamole. I mashed the avocado with a fork, added the other ingredients and then I squeezed an eighth of a lime into the guacamole. A friend who joined us for dinner said that he liked the green stuff.

Oven Brown Rice

This is an easy dish to make when you are busy but want to serve a healthy side dish. I like brown rice better than white and this is surprisingly tasty, even the kids like it.

Maple Dill Carrots

These are quick to make and very good. I cut out the dill the first time I made them only because I didn't have any on hand. We liked them so much that I never tried them with the dill.

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Okay, I've tried alot of pizza crust recipes and always ended up with something thick and heavy. I was just about to give up, then I found Jay's recipe. Love it! This is as good as the pizza shops. I make the "Exquisite Pizza Sauce" to go with the crust. Excellent.

Black Bean and Salsa Soup

This is a very tasty and filling soup. My teenage daughter will make this on her own. It is very easy to make and goes well as a side with your favorite Mexican dish.

Filled Apricot Cookies

These are great cookies. Just like mom used to make. The outside is light and flaky, and if rolled in the powdered sugar they are slightly sweet. I loved the apricot filling. Make sure the dough is cold or else it will turn gooey in your hand. If it turns gooey just put the dough back in the frig for a half hour. They take time to make but it is worth it.

Baking Powder Biscuits

This is an excellent biscuit recipe. I made it just the way the recipe said except I gently patted the batter into shape in my hand instead of rolling it out. They are light and fluffy with a great taste. I would like to try them with a little whole wheat flour and butter, instead of shortening, next time. Definitely a keeper.

Strawberry Jam

Very nice jam recipe. Make sure you stir it constantly to prevent scorching. I did two batches, I think I burned one batch slightly, it has a slight smokey aftertaste. The second batch turned out great.

Potluck Rice Pilaf

So good and easy. I cut the recipe in half, used chives instead of green onions only because I didn't have onions and I omitted the almonds at my husbands request. Sometimes I make it with chicken broth sometimes with chicken bouillon. It's great either way.

American Lasagna

A family favorite. I use 2 pounds of hamburger because we're a meat lovin family. I also add 12 ounces of water to the sauce and let it simmer for about an hour.

Fat Pete's Fudge

Excellent! You don't need to use peanut butter if you want just plan fudge. I used all chocolate chips because I didn't have a candy bar. I also only used one jar of fluff by accident and it still turned out great. If you use peanut butter, don't warm it in the microwave, like some suggest, because it gets way too runny, unless you want to pour a layer of peanut butter on top of the fudge.

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

You really have to work fast once you add the chocolate chips because it hardens up too fast. I had to spread it into the pan not pour it. It didn't look very pretty at all.

Jif® Peanut Butter Blossoms

Very nice cookie. A big hit with the family. It was easy to make. As others said, make sure your kisses are unwrapped and ready to go into the cookie so that they don't crack too badly. I think next time I make these I will omit the part where you roll the dough in the sugar. They seemed a little too sweet to me.
