Chicken Tetrazzini

Reviewed: May 19, 2010
The recipe was probably four stars as is, but I made some changes and it was DELICIOUS! First, I used egg noodles instead of spegetti. I used shredded chicken that I had left over from the night when I made enchiladas. The meat was seasoned up already and was great. I used fresh mushrooms (sliced), added frozen corn, used cream of celery instead of chicken broth (just add the cream of celery and ¾ of a can of water), left out the pimentos, added 3 sliced green onions, and put ground pepper on the top of the cheese (I used Italian cheese and cheddar-and prob about ¾ of a cup total). It was delicious! The kids loved it, my hubby loved it and the left overs were great too! ?

Sherry's German Turkey

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2011
AMAZING! This was my third turkey in my home and I really wanted something with great flavor and was juicy! THIS IS IT! I do not use a turkey bag, and it has been great every time I use this recipe. I have also used the onion, celery, apple, orange, carrot, and seasoning for a simple whole chicken....AMAZING! Thank you, Sherry!

Veronica's Hot Spinach, Artichoke and Chile Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2011
I have made this recipe several times and have received RAVE reviews every time! Friends now BEG for me to make it when we have get togethers! I leave out the jalapenos but only because it is perfect without...and I don't usually have canned jalapenos on hand. SPECTACULAR! Thanks!

Macaroni Tuna Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2010
Delicious! I added cubed cheddar cheese as well (not very much...) and omitted the celery since I'm not crazy about "crunch" in my tuna salad. Delcious!

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread II

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2011
I have made these SO many times and just have not reviewed yet. These are AMAZING. I usually put mine in oiled muffin tins which makes it easier for the little hands to just grab one as a quick snack. Absolutely fantastic recipe!

Venison Stew II

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2011
This recipe is AMAZING! I used various cuts of the deer, and was worried that some would be tough as it was all very lean. I seasoned the meat as I coated it in flour and once I had seared it, I tossed in some merlot to scrap the flour reminents off the pan. I would HIGHLY reccomend doing this as it gives an amazing flavor to the meat and the broth. The meat was perfect and fell apart in your mouth. I put potatoes, carrots, peas, celery and whole wheat noodles in. I also used some extra flour at the very end to thicken it up a little, but only because hubby prefers it that way. This is a fantastic recipe and very forgiving.

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2011
I have made this recipe MANY times in our house...and always forget to leave a review. Recipe is fantastic...especially with a coupld of adjustments as others have mentioned. Use 1 can cream of mushroom, 1 can of golden mushroom, instead of milk- I use heavy whipping cream, and then I add a little extra wine.

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2011
FANTASTIC! Made it just the way it is written and my family REFUSES to ever eat the "jar alfredo" sauce! I've used milk and heavy whipping cream depending on what I have on hand that I wanted to use up.

Carrie's Artichoke and Sun-Dried Tomato Pasta

Reviewed: May 16, 2010
This recipe is fabulous! I usually add cooked chicken, an extra 10 oz of artichokes and a little more fresh tomato. FANTASTIC as it is, but amazing if you add/remove things to your liking. On another note....try adding capers for even MORE flavor!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2009
This was a FABULOUS recipe!! My husband loves lasagna to be very meaty, so I put about two pounds of ground beef, plus extra sausage. Point being, don't be afraid to add extra meat, along with extra tomatoe sauce if you so desire. I did double the seasoning like it was reccomended. This is a great recipe and is easily tailored to your individual desires!
