Baked Pork Spring Rolls

Reviewed: May 24, 2013
Great easy recipe, I used bean sprouts left out cilantro and accidentally tipped more oyster sauce in but it turned out fine and tasty anyway :) They are fiddly to make but they dont have to look perfect, because they wont last long n the plate! I liked a 50/50 ratio of meat and veges maybe even 60/40 in favour of veges. I found the baking and turning once worked really well - nice and crispy, even without brushing with oil. I also cooked with the seam side down first and they kept their shape.

I just made these and they came out perfect. I added a spoonful of vanilla pudding in the middle of each cupcake before icing.

True Lancashire Hot Pot

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2009
I was pleasantly suprised, first time I have tried making this dish and it came out delicious. The bacon definately gives this dish a lot of flavour - so dont skimp on the bacon. I followed the recipe mostly, using "BISTO" for homemade gravy and only added sliced carrots, peas & corn - the gravy was a perfect consistency, not too runny or thick. Nice comfort food in winter.

Spring Rolls

Wow - These are great, they were an instant hit with my family. I left out the mushrooms as we're not too keen on them, and had to use cabbage instead of bean sprouts. I used another persons idea about adding water chestnuts since I had some in my cupboard. Thank you so much for your lovely recipe.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2010
wow, these are the ones! Perfect tasty muffins. I will definitely be making these again and again. Had to use frozen blueberries and they still came out delicious. The crumbly mixture that goes on top is what makes these "to die for" - Yummy thanks for the recipe.

Made these with leftover mashed potatoes, didn't have any cornmeal so just used breadcrumbs and they came out delicious. I also added some garlic salt for flavor. Thanks for sharing your recipe.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Yummy and delicious! Mouth watering chicken that smells great while its cooking. I did a faster version with the rub and cooked for 2 hrs on 180 (depends on size of the chicken)

Apple Maple Crumble Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2011
So yummy with vanilla ice cream. I doubled the topping except for the sugar and it was sweet enough with a drizzle of maple syrup over the fruit. I used black doris plums (canned) and fresh pears instead of apples.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2012
Everyone loves these cookies when I make them. I use peanut M&M's or large milk chocolate buttons. The crunchie bar didn't work out so well, I couldnt get it to break into good size pieces and the maltesers were just ok. I dont melt the butter completely either just soften a little in the microwave. Also I leave the dough in the fridge as long as I can (overnight is best. The best thing is the dough will keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week or so, and then I just pop them in the oven when required. Thank you for sharing.
