Microwave Corn on the Cob

When I got this recipe yesterday in my email I never thought I would use it. Until today (an entire day later :) ), my boss gave me some sweet corn from a local farm. By noon I couldn't wait to try it, so with only a microwave at work I cleaned it, wrapped it in a paper towel for 2 minutes and WOW!! An excellent way to make corn on the cob, just as good as boiling, only easier, faster, and less mess!

Bacon for the Family or a Crowd

This is a great recipe/ idea. The bacon cooks perfectly. The entire house does not stink of bacon grease for the rest of the day! Finally, clean up is a breeze as you just remove alum foil and wash the baking sheet (instead of having to scrub relentless grease splatters!). Thank you for this!

Freezer Caramel Drizzle Pie

Absolutely incredible! One of my favorite desserts to really wow folks, they would never know how simple it is! I am wondering how it would be if refrigerated instead of frozen? Any thoughts?

Ground Beef Stroganoff

I made the recipe as written, only adding cream of mushroom soup per other reviewers advice. There is some awful taste in every bite that I can't narrow down what it is? I didn't even buy the cheap mayonaise. A friend of mine came over just as I was finishing and I had her try the first bite. When she made an awful face I thought to myself.. that's kind of rude. Until I tried it... it really was that bad.

Mound Bars

Amazing! These bars are soooo delicious and soooo addicting! They are a little sloppy to make and don't look very perfect- but one bite and who cares! So good! Thanks for the recipe!

Cowboy Oatmeal Cookies

It's true- these cookies are amazing!! I am throwing all other oatmeal cookie recipes out of my recipe box and leaving the only one worth having- this cookie! They are also super easy to make and foolproof. I made some of the batch the first night and froze the rest for the next night...not sure how they would turn out. Both batches are perfect! You can't mess them up!

Fright Krispies Treats™

I made these last weekend. Who would have thought coconut and Rice Krispies would be sooooo delicious together!?! Ohhhh but they are! MMM!! For the eyes I just used orange and black gel. Lol- as for making them WITH kids, they are messy enough with me alone making them, I would just say make them FOR the kids instead. :)

Pasta Fagioli

Wow! I had never even had pasta fagioli before, but I love anything Italian, so I tried it. The recipe has amazing flavor and is so easy to make! I would recommend doubling the recipe as it didn't seem to make much. Definitely a keeper! Thanks!

Granny Kat's Pumpkin Roll

Amazing! I had made a pumpkin roll a few years ago and it was such a flop, I was scared to ever make one again. However, my love for pumpkin rolls finally got me to try this recipe. It was AMAZING!!! It was easy to make and I had no problems with rolling/ cracking! Perfect recipe! Thank you!!
