Tomato Bisque I

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2011
Quick and easy. Will use a bit less cream next time, but otherwise was great with grilled cheese sandwiches.

Pumpkin Roll I

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2011
Everyone loved it! It was my first roll of any kind so it took 2 tries to get the cake roll part right, but the second time worked. I used a silicon mat on the jelly roll pan and this made it very easy to remove. Also just used paper towels instead of a cloth towel - this also worked just fine. I would recomend this and make again.

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

My first bird! Turned out great although i accidently cooked it upside down - lol. Used fresh onion due to not having the dried minced onion on hand. The whole gang loved it!

Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2011
These were grate as a thought they would be. I only make my mashed potatoes with recipes that include cream cheese since a friend of mine taught me to add it. Like others reviewers i left out the butter for the last step. Also used a paper towel under slow cooker lid to catch the condensation.

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2011
This came out perfect! I did not use any frosting or glaze since it was chocolaty enough on its own. Only topped with a bit of powdered sugar just for the look of it. I also cut down the oil as others had to ½ cup and used the mini choc chips instead of standard size, this left the chips throughout the cake and they did not sink to the bottom. I will definitely make this again, it was a winner!
