Asian Glazed Chicken Thighs

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2013
Good recipe, made as prescribed. Had to substitute rice vinegar; used balsamic.Used whole chicken cut to 10pc, by far the thighs and legs were the best. OOOPS Just noticed I used Sambal Oelek (1tbs ground fresh chili paste) for the 3 tablespoons Asian chili garlic sauce. When I do this again, I will add 1tbs of liquid smoke, just to help balance the flavors.

Yellow Squash Patties

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2013
Because of what I had on hand, I reduced this to 3 servings, used red onion. Added shredded carrots, clove of minced garlic & smoked paprika. It took over an hour for the squash, onion and carrot to drain/dry. Next time I will add green onion to the mix.

Easy Spinach Lasagna with White Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2012
I followed this recipe as prescribed, using the Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce recipe and fresh spinach. It was good, but it lacked in flavor & seasoning. It was also undercooked as prescribed. I did a 2nd tray this time I sauteed the spinach, carrots, mushrooms, separately and with minced garlic, salt n pepper. Did not dilute the Alfredo by adding that much milk. Used whole grain lasagna noodles. Kicked the oven temp up to 375 Side by side taste test,, tray 2 wins w 100 % of the vote.

Oven Roasted Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2012
I used a whole fryer cut into 10 pcs (breast into 4pc) and left the skin on. Replaced Spelda w/brown sugar & vinegar w/ pineapple juice I marinated the chicken (1-2 hrs)in the UNCOOKED sauce. Baked in UNGREASED casserole dish for approx 45 minutes, after 5 minutes I reduced the temperature to 375, basting 2 or 3 times over the cooking process. This was easy & excellent! Next time I will try brining the Chicken 1st and grill on the bbq. Photo to follow. Happy Eats! Notes: If you cook your sauce (no need to) completely cool/chill your sauce b4 marinating your chicken

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2011
UPDATE to earlier review: I have made this recipe at least a dozen times now and I have a few tips to make the best wing recipe even better. 1.Paper towel dry the wings 1st, then season the wings w/salt & pepper b4 dredging. 2. Put the flour mix in a bowl and dredge the wings one at a time. this insures all the wings are covered completely. 3. Use Crisco.....lol 4. Wings should be really cold b4 frying in 375 degree Crisco. 5. Let the wings rest 4 a few minutes b4 saucing. The only problem I have w/this recipe is, I no longer can eat wings out, nobody's wings are as good as mine......lol Happy Eats :) What can I say that hasn't been said already. Followed this recipe as written, EXCELLENT! I tripled the recipe, Everyone that ate them had nothing but complements. They wanted more! Served with celery, carrots and ranch dressing.

This recipe is really good and easy to prepare. I pounded the chicken thin and put some of the adobe, cream cheese, some red pepper and onions inside the chicken and then rolled it up and placed in crock pot. This is a keeper! Thank you.

Chicken with Bouillon

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2011
Easy and so Good! I clarified some butter to cook the chicken in and then in the last few minutes of cooking added some unsalted butter and spooned it over the chicken. Based on the other reviews I backed off the bouillon by 50% to reduce the salty taste. Good Eats!
