Gumbo Style Chicken Creole

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2012
Very Nice - Thanks to other reviews, added some sausage and shrimp, okra, celery. DOUBLED the recipe - Great the next day. Used the Store-Bought rotisserie chicken and made broth with the remains after stripping off the meat. Added perhaps a cup of the broth. Big Hit!

Great! Cover with Tomatos and Mushrooms. Add some chopped Bacon in the Mix. Any Cheese as others have said. Keeps well, reheats easily. Love it.

Mexican Sour Cream Rice

Reviewed: May 9, 2010
Love it! Simple to make as well. I wonder if Plain Yogurt could be used instead of Sour Cream. I'll try that next time. I sneaked in the sour cream as my Wife and Mother-in-law don't like sour cream. But they gobbled it up anyway.

Ham Chowder

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2010
Wonderful. Use advise from others and used perhaps only 1 t of Rosemary, and only 1 lb Bacon. 2 lbs Bacon scared me. Also added in some left over Mased Potatoes to thicken up. Feed to 5 People who all enjoyed very much!

Leftover Turkey Brunswick Stew

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2009
Excellent! Did not have canned potatoes, so after cooking up the onions, I added the water and sliced up some potatoes and brought up to boil to give them a chance. Followed instructions for the rest. I love it. Thanks!
