Honey Whole Wheat Bread

Reviewed: May 18, 2011
This bread was very good. I did as other reviewers said. I did 2 cups wheat flour to 1 cup bread flour. I also increased honey to 1/4 cup and salt to 1 tsp. I used the dough cycle on them machine. Pounded it one more time and formed rolls. Let it sit in warm oven another 30 min then cooked at 375 for about 12 minutes. I will warn you, first bite you're like eh then the flavors kick in mmmhmmm

E-Z Drop Biscuits

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2011
At first I was baffled that they didn't look like they were done. But they were! I thought oh no!!!! But everyone loved them and ate them up. While they don't look light and fluffy they are! Great recipe exactly like it is written.

Bacon Gravy for Biscuits

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2011
I did the recipe exactly and I too ended up with something that looked like oatmeal. I will try one more time taking the advice of others and slowly pour milk in and flour and too keep pouring milk until you get the consistency you like. Also, I will reduce the amount of flour as suggested by some. This is a starter but definitely not exact way of making it.

Brussels Sprouts with Mushrooms

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2010
This was only my 3rd time eating brussel sprouts let alone cook them. I really loved them! The only thing different I did was add some garlic and eliminated the parsely since I didn't have any. The lemon juice on top was delicious! I did clean off the outer leaves and then steamed them in the microwave for about 7 minutes. Delicious!

Classic Caramel Corn

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2010
Oh my, this was the best! I took the advice of others and sprayed a roasting pan, left the popcorn in the oven while the sauce was preparing. I also sprayed my spatula so nothing would stick. Drizzled it and stirred it. Helped to have someone mixing the popcorn around as I was drizzling it. Cooked it 45 min and stirred it every 10 min. Laid it out on parchment paper and it was delicious. Gone! Very easy, just time consuming because of the stirring but so easy for anyone to make and look like a pro! I am going to try adding peanuts and drizzle chocolate next time.

Spiced Walnut Apple Pie

Reviewed: May 16, 2010
Not sure what I did wrong but followed the directions to a tee. When I put in the walnuts and sugar it instantly hardened. Thinking maybe baking would help, nope. Hard as a rock and you couldn't cut through the pie. But, we just put the pie in the middle and ate from that. Had it worked it would have tasted good. My boyfriend called it cement pie. lol
