Glazed Meatloaf I

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2010
This is the ONE! I've been looking for five years for a perfect meatloaf. The sounds that came from my husband told me I have found it! Thank you to the cook that submitted this one:) I loved it too and I'm not that keen on meatloaf.

Chocolate Cherry Cake III

Reviewed: May 23, 2010
LOVED IT! This one will definitely stay in my recipe box. Having said that I don't like cake mixes but I like this recipe. I suggest to anyone trying this for the first time that you don't change a thing. I used Duncan Hines Devils food cake mix as suggested. this cake comes together so quickly and easily which is icing on the cake so to speak.

Chewy Peanut Butter Brownies

Reviewed: May 3, 2010
I would like to start by saying....I am a picky baker. Only the best recipes for my family. HAVING said that, I want everyone to know that these peanut butter brownies are AWESOME!!!!! We tried these approximately 20 minutes after they came out of the oven and the texture is wonderful. I mixed with a wooden spoon used about 1 tablespoon less flour and sprinkled peanut butter chips and chocolate chips over the top before baking for 29 minutes. If these are as good cooled then we have a new favorite at my house.

Peach Pie the Old Fashioned Two Crust Way

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2010
Absolutely loved this recipe! I really recommend cutting the lemon juice to just one tablespoon. I added about 3/4 cups of blueberries as well and I am so glad I did. Right before sealing the crust I sprinkled a little brown sugar over the fruit and butter. This one is a real keeper. I cant wait to make it with fresh peaches this summer( I used frozen peaches and fresh blueberries and it was still fabulous). Try this one you will be so glad you did.

One Bowl Brownies

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2010
These are perfect if you are looking for fudgey and chewy brownies. I did not change a thing. However I did very little mixing in order to keep these from being cakey.

Cheesy Potatoes I

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2010
I absolutely LOVED these and so did my husband. I used less butter and instead of using all velveeta I added shredded mild cheddar and co-jack as well. I really liked the flavor of all the cheeses. This one is a keeper.

Carrie's Artichoke and Sun-Dried Tomato Pasta

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2010
This recipe has great potential but with two tablespoons of lemon juice I found this to be too tart. I also found it a little heavy on ingredients. I will try it again but cut the artichokes and sun dried tomatoes by half and up the fresh tomatos.

Chocolate Cornstarch Pudding

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2010
I was craving something chocolaty and comforting and this did the trick. I was was very happy with the smooth texture of this pudding but I can't help but wonder how good it would be if I added about a quarter of a cup of chocolate chips with the butter and vanilla at the end. I'll try it next time. Loved it and so did my husband.

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2009
I made these last night and they are fantastic. I called my sister and told her to give them a try ASAP. HOWEVER... I did change up the frosting. I only used two Tablespoons of cocoa and increased the butter to four Tablespoons. I also added a little milk for a creamier texture. Do not over stir or overbake. We loved them! Good Luck! Saundra

Smucker's® Oatmeal Carmelitas

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2009
I have been making these for 30 years. My kids grew up on this recipe and it is awesome. I use a 17 oz jar of Mrs. Richardson's butterscotch carmel topping instead of Smuckers and a whole 12 oz bag of chocolate chips instead of 6 oz. Be sure not to over mix the oatmeal mixture or it will turn to one big glob making it impossible to sprinkle over the pan and again over the top. These are sure to become a family favorite. I hope you can create the wonderful memories that I have over the years with this recipe.

Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2009
WOW!!!!! I love this recipe. I am so picky when it comes to chocolate chip cookies. I have been baking for over 30 years and have a reputation when it comes to my cookies. I can't wait to bring these to friends and family. No changes are necessary to this recipe at all. Go ahead and bake them you won't be sorry.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2009
Finally, I can stop searching for a great blueberry muffin recipe. These were hands down the best muffins I ever tasted. Of course it helps when you can find excellent fresh blueberries. ( I added extra). You can't go wrong with this recipe. I got six jumbo muffins from this recipe.
