Vegetarian Chickpea Curry with Turnips

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2011
This was delicious! I served it with rice, and it was a filling and satisfying meal. I was generous with the red pepper flakes, and it had a lovely heat. The balance of the spices with the tomato sauce and turnip was perfect. I would omit the corn in the future, but that is just because I am not a big corn fan. Thank you mia_bella84!!

Meltaway Brownies

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2010
These were absolutely delicious!! I had no walnuts, so I omitted those, and I only baked for 20 minutes. The brownies are somewhat dense, very chocolatey and not too sweet. Just how I like them! Thanks!!!

Caroline's Chocolate Fudge Frosting

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2009
This is SO delicious! I left out the vanilla, because I didn't have any, but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. I covered a 9x13 pound cake very generously and had about 3/4 cup left over. It developed a hard skin, which gave a very pleasant crunchy outside, then moist inside, and it looked very pretty on the cake. I got rave reviews! Thanks!!

Blueberry Oat Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2009
These muffins were a huge success for me! I used half a cup of whole wheat flour, and frozen domestic blueberries. The muffins were quite dense, and not at all dry, with a lovely flavour. My blueberries were huge, so when I first took the muffins out they were close to falling apart. But once they cooled, they were completely stable!

Dark Chocolate Cake II

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2009
I've found my go-to chocolate cake recipe! I was always puzzled by my family's traditional chocolate cake as I found it didn't taste like chocolate. This cake most definitely does! It was also easy to work with, and didn't suffer from being frozen for a week. It was still chocolatey and moist! Thanks!

Rolled Fondant

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2009
I can't get over how well this worked! My cake was beautiful, and delicious! I've never made any elaborate kind of cake before, and I've never eaten rolled fondant before (let alone worked with or made it) so I couldn't compare. But some of my guinea pigs (er... guests) had and they said it tasted far better than the kind you buy. It was a lot of work, but I followed the directions and it went perfectly! Thank you so so much! For the recipe, and also to the other reviewers! I wouldn't have even attempted this project without the assurance from you!
