Flourless Chocolate Cake II

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2011
Wow! This was awesome! I added strawberries and XXX sugar on top and it was wonderful! Easy to prepare and quick too. Very rich, so you don't need much of a slice.

Grandma's Egg Custard Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2012
This was my first time making egg custard and it worked well and tasted great. I made it for Father's Day as this is one of my Dad's favs. He NEVER says anything is good, but did say this was!! I did not scald the milk, but used it cold and used a combo of evaporated milk and 2% and it was fine. I added what it called for on the sugar and did not think it was too sweet. I did bake it longer than called for since at 30 minutes it was still really runny. Ended up probably baking it 400 degrees for 50 min to 1 hour.

Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2012
Great recipe. I did use jar spaghetti sauce instead and it turned out fine. Served over angel hair pasta and added some extra sauce.

Kay's Spaghetti and Lasagna Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2011
Wonderful sauce. This was my first time actually making a sauce. I only had diced tomatoes and tomato sauce on hand, so that is what I used. I did not use as much onion and pepper as called for. Ended up cooking this in the crock pot for 5+ hours since I had to leave. It was great! Will fix again.

Easy OREO Truffles

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2012
Delicious! I used double stuffed oreos since I had those. Mine were sticky, so I put in the freezer for a while before making the balls. I, personally, have difficulty when dipping into the chocolate so mine were not "pretty" but still taste great. Can be a little time consuming, but worth the effort.

Oven-Roasted Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2012
Quick and easy. I cooked the potatoes in the microwave for a few minutes before cutting them. Also added a little garlic powder to them. They were yummy with ranch dressing.

Vivian's Delight

I love this! Made it w/ the strawberry jello, and used low fat cottage cheese and whipped cream. Can't wait to try it with a different kind of jello!

Slow Cooker Apple Butter

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2012
Very good! I did not have allspice, so added a little nutmeg instead. I did add a little more sugar, but my apples were green and more sour.

Smoky Grilled Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2014
I did not have onion powder and do not really care for liquid smoke so left out those. I used the thick bone in pork chops and they were so juicy and wonderful! Will def make again.

As one person put it, This is like eating dessert! Yummy. I did not double my topping, but did put it in a smaller dish than a 9X13 and it worked well.

Traditional Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2010
This is an excellent Salisbury Steak! Much better than a lot of those that use the brown gravy mix since my husband does not like brown gravy. It was wonderful as is...I didn't change a thing in the recipe other than I cooked it in the oven. Will make again!

Whipped Frosting I

Reviewed: May 10, 2011
Excellent! I used this on a yellow cake and added cut fresh strawberries! Will def make again! The only downside was it did not make enough frosting. I made two loaf pans of cake and cut each in half so it was not quite enough for that. Had to just put icing in the middle and on top, none left for sides.

Spoiled Baby Back Ribs

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2012
Oh my goodness, these were the absolute best ribs!! I boiled them and then put on a baking sheet (lined w/ Reynolds wrap), brushed on the BBQ sauce, and then cooked them on the grill. I dipped mine in the left over sauce. I did not even care about the rest of the meal, just wanted to eat the ribs!
