Easy and really good. Made as directed, except I did brown my ribs before putting in crock pot.

Freda's Cherry Supreme Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2011
I enjoyed this and made as written, except did not add the nuts due to people who are allergic. I might try it w/ a different flavor such as strawberry pie filling next time.

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2011
Not bad, I used strawberries, kiwi, granny smith apples, peach, blueberries and chopped all in my mini chopper to get more of a salsa type. I put honey on it as this was what I had as far as jelly. Chips were good, but do take a while to make.

Out of this World Turkey Brine

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2013
Turkey was moist, but we used the drippings off it to make gravy and it was really, really salty. We researched and added a raw potato to cut the salt taste in the gravy, but it was still really salty. We did rinse the turkey before baking. If you want gravy, you will have to do it with something other than the juice off the meat.

Slow Cooker Beef Roast

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2011
Not a bad taste, but not as tender as some of the recipes I have tried. I omitted the celery, as I hate the taste of it, and did not miss it at all.

This had a great taste. I did change the cherry to cranberry due to personal taste preference.

Japanese Beef Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2011
I thought the sauce was a little strong and would cut back some on the soy sauce. I added a frozen bag of stir fry veggies and it was nice.

All-Day Apple Butter

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2011
This was my first try at making apple butter and this did really well. It was easy to fix and I seasoned it to my taste. I started with one cup of white sugar and one cup of brown sugar. After it cooked all night, I added one more cup of white sugar. I used cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger since that is what I had as far as spices. I am going to try it again soon!

Cranberry Pot Roast

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2011
This one is a great hit with my family. I have given out the recipe many times. I don't usually add the onion per my taste and it is wonderful.

Orange Glaze for Ham

Easy and tasted good. Used on ham slices that I fixed in the oven. Will use again. Did add some honey as suggested. I did not have the can of mandarin oranges.

Jenny's Grilled Chicken Breasts

Not too bad. Chicken was juicy. Used garlic powder instead of onion powder since that was what I had.

Wow! Loved the sauce, but had bought a mix to make the onions. Sauce was perfect with the onion.

Luscious Eggnog

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2013
I did not think this was nearly sweet enough. I will def at least double the sugar next time. I picked this one b/c it called for the eggs to be cooked, as I was nervous about raw eggs. It did get a little lumpy once I folded in the heavy whipping cream mixture, so I kept stirring until it was smooth.

Slow Cooker Apple Butter

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2012
Very good! I did not have allspice, so added a little nutmeg instead. I did add a little more sugar, but my apples were green and more sour.

Easy OREO Truffles

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2012
Delicious! I used double stuffed oreos since I had those. Mine were sticky, so I put in the freezer for a while before making the balls. I, personally, have difficulty when dipping into the chocolate so mine were not "pretty" but still taste great. Can be a little time consuming, but worth the effort.
