Hot Jezebel

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2001
This was a fabulous recipe. I made it for my parents anniversary party and it was a hit. It definately doesn't sound great when you look at the ingredients but wow! I will be making this again!

Spinach and Mushroom Pinwheels

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2001
Great recipe! I made these for my parents anniversary party and everyone raved about them. I made them a few weeks before and did not slice the loaves. I froze them whole and then the morning of the party I took them out of the freezer and let them sit out for a few hours and them sliced them. They sliced perfectly this way. They were time consuming to make but it was so worth the effort it took.

WOW! SOOOOOOOOO GOOD! I made this for my parents anniversary party and it was a big hit. It is just too tasty for words. I made it the night before and it really melded the flavors together. I can't wait to try it on hot baked potatoes!

Cocktail Meatballs

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2001
I made these for my parents anniversary party and they flew out of the crockpot. I made the meatballs a few days before and baked them off. I then froze them and let them simmer in the sauce in the crockpot for a few hours.

Italian Style Meatloaf I

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2001
This was absolutely wonderful. This is the first time I have ever made a meatloaf and it turned out great. We barely had any leftovers which upset my husband, he loves meatloaf sandwiches. Great recipe!

Great frosting recipe. It was so smooth and creamy. I tinted it different pastel colors for Valentine cookies.

Great soup. I had never had split pea soup before and this was super. This really warmed us up on a rainy, chilly night. Great when served with some crusty rolls.

Best Cream of Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2001
What a delicious soup. My husband and I just loved it. I used only 2 tbs of flour and added about 1/2 cup of milk at the end of cooking to thin it to the desired consistency. We loved the spicy little kick it had.

Lentil Soup

Very tasty and rich soup. It reminds me of soup that I would get at a local bakery and restaurant. Wonderful when served with homemade crusty rolls.

Very good. I wrapped each muffin individually in green saran wrap and put them in a gift basket. They look really good with the sugar on top.

Great recipe. I served this for a dinner party last night and unfortunately there are no leftovers for today. I really liked the water chestnut and bacon addition.

Roasted Vegetable and Beef Stew

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2000
I thought this was a very rich and hearty stew. Once you cut up all the meat and vegetables it was a snap to put together. I added an extra can of broth and a little extra wine in for a little more sauce. Make sure you serve with some nice bread to sop up all the delicous gravy.

Best Ever Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2000
Very good and creamy fudge. I would suggest lining the pan with parchment or waxed paper before poring in the fudge so you can just lift it out for ease in cutting. Great recipe, thanks!
