Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2009
Love it. We keep coming back to this recipe, so I guess that means 5 stars! I agree you should use less bleu cheese dressing, initially. But, we dip the pizza in the reserved dressing while eating it!

Jamie's Cranberry Spinach Salad

Wonderful! I unexpectedly loved the combined flavor of sesame seed and poppy seed. I wouldn't change a thing. Great job, Jaime!

Hot Fruit Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2009
Yummy. I thought it was a strange mixture of fruits, but had them all on hand, so decided to try it. I forgot the peaches and it was still delicious. Thank you for a great wintry day fruit recipe!

Bananas Foster II

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2010
Hellooooo Everyone! This is so yummy. I thought it sounded a little wierd, but I was looking for an ultra-quick way to use up bananas. Gasp! I found a recipe that will be used over and over. This is easy enough for a quick late-night comfort snack, but nice enough for a formal sit - down dinner. Thanks for the great recipe! Yum.

Spiced Sweet Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2010
Move over Ranch and dill dips, this hummus is yummy. Another hummus recipe I tried, called for so much garlic, I couldn't taste anything else... I know, I didn't think too much garlic was possible, either. This is just right, and has a delightful blend of tasty, interesting flavors. Thanks for the great recipe!

Chicken Breasts in Caper Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2010
Double the sauce and don't change a thing. Soooo yummy. This is one of the few recipes that has made it into our family rotation without extensive revisions. Definitely good enough for company, though. Way to go, mommyto2boys! I've got 3 little boys and they loved this. The chicken was slightly crisped on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside.

Slow Cooked Corned Beef for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2010
This is IT! I've made many other corned beef recipes and now have made this one on St. Patrick's day for 3 years in a row. I won't ever go back. We don't take alcohol, so I use ginger ale instead of beer....still tastes amazing. This isn't just for sandwiches. Use this recipe for your main dish Corned Beef!

Southwestern Hominy

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2010
Yummy! Use garden fresh tomatoes, and don't bake them in. Serve them on top as a delicious, fresh garnish. I don't like cumin, so omitted it, but thanks for the delicious recipe, otherwise!!!

Shrimp Bisque II

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2011
I'm not prone to giving bad reviews. This recipe has WAY too much paprika. I followed the recipe exactly, but omitted the alcohol (we don't drink). I think it would have been delicious with 1 t. paprika, but 3 T KILLED it. I could hardly taste the beautiful homemade shrimp/onion stock and expensive storebought seafood stock. It could be personal preferrence, but start out easy on the spices, if you're going to choose this recipe. I guess I prefer a white sauce shrimp bisque, as opposed to a more cajun style bisque, so I'm pretty sure it's personal preferrence. You should know, though, before trying it.

Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2011
I can NOT believe how much I love this recipe. Fantastic. I am not a picky eater, but have never tried brussel sprouts, despite much urging. These were SO tasty. The ones I didn't eat that night I ate cold, right out of the refrigerator. I microwaved them in some water for about 8 minutes, before browning them in the oven. I've been craving them ever since.

Whipping Cream Pound Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2011
Wow! I've been on the hunt for the perfect pound cake and... this is it! The smell is delightful, the taste is wonderful, and most importantly, the texture is HEAVENLY. Follow the recipe! The method is important. The taste of the raw batter was reminiscent of Angel food cake. The baked cake was light, spongy, and dense all at the same time. Absolutely wonderful! It made the best strawberry shortcake we've ever had. Thank you so much for this recipe. We'll be using it over and over.

Chili Rubbed Pork Tenderloin With Apricot Ginger Glaze

Reviewed: May 8, 2011
Um. Wow! So tender. So full of flavor. So tasty. So...GONE. This was so good I hardly have words to describe it. Do not pass this one by. This is perfect for company, but quick enough to make on a weeknight. Just pull the rubbed pork out of the frige and throw it on the grill while you whip up some potatoes and a veggie. It really is done in 20 minutes and so tender and tasty... I know, I already covered that. Don't miss out on this recipe.

OK. I'm giving into peer pressure and reviewing this recipe, finally. I'd like to echo another reviewer. BELIEVE THE HYPE. This pie is SOOOOOO good. I'm leaving the apple crumbles, dutch apple pies and apple crisps all behind in favor of this delectable apple treat. Enjoy!

Garbanzo Bean Chocolate Cake (Gluten Free!)

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2011
Mmmm. I was seriously nervous to try this recipe, and have now made it half a dozen times. My body feels happier getting good high protein goodness, and my tongue gets a sweet, fudgy, chocolatey treat. I serve it with a chocolate glaze. Thanks for the great recipe.

Balsamic Vinaigrette

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2011
Delish. This dressing is especially good with a salad including fresh, homegrown tomatoes. I've made it half a dozen times, now. It's permanently on the recipe rotation! Make sure you add a bit of sugar, as suggested by another reviewer. I add a good teaspoon, or so.

Egg and Cheese Puffs

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2011
Yum! I'll be honest, I like these best without the bacon, chilies, and salsa. I undercook them a bit for one of the easiest, healthiest, most delectable cheese souffles you've ever tasted. I'm pretty sure that wasn't the intent of the recipe, but I'm super glad you've shared it, anyway. I've made it 3 times, now. Delish!
