Fresh Fig Cake

it's really weierd how a cake with a cup of butter or more comes out dry nd this one came out so0o moist,sweet and healthy!I halved the recipe and used one really small egg and used 6 muffins tin and i had some batter left so i guess half the recipe is enough for 8 muffines! i found the sauce unnessacery or it needs WAY more sugar to thicken like a jam! i'll do it again and again (without the sauce)!!!

Original Nestle® Toll House® Chocolate Chip Pan Cookie

these definitly need half the butter amount! i made half the recipe with 1/3 cup of butter and my family couldn't eat it cuz of being so greasy! and did i mention how it was drawned in chocolate though i used less chocolate than stated in recipe..i'll do it again but in the form of cookies not pan cookie

Nannie's Hot Milk Sponge Cake

great fluffy cake!,i was looking for a cake without any added fat and here it is!i used 1 cup of sugar and it was sweet enough(i can't imagin it with 2 cups!),and i beated the egg for so long that's what makes the diffrence,i ate it with a layer of custard and strawberry jam..fabulous,thank you for such a great recipe,i'll do it again!

wow,what shall i say !!!what a nice yummy cake.i've made half the recipe(we are only 5) i got such a rave reviews!!so moist so good and surprisingly healthy(only 1/4 cup of oil)it's a keeper!!i wanted to add a photo but it was gone..yumm,thanx 4 sharing

Apple Brownies

hi,this is my first review on this site ,i'm 14 years old & i love baking. i would like to thank you for this great recipe,i rate 4 stars because i made few modifications on it 1.i used 1/4 cup butter & 1/4 cup unsweetend applesauce(according to its an apple brownie there must be some applesauce in it !!:)2. i used 3/4 cup of sugar but it was a bit sweet for us(next time i'll go for 1/2 cup)3.It NEEDS more than 35 min in the oven i baked it for 45 min (& my mom thought it needed more),finally i only used 9 raisines for decoration purpose!& i ommited the nuts & increased the cinnamon to 1 1/2tsp,it really looks like all apple before baking & it made 16 awesome bars,but otherwise it was WONDERFUL,next time i'll try it with 1/2 cup sugar & 1/2 cup applesauce & no butter,& replace 1/2 cup of the wheat with whole-wheat flour,add 1/4 tsp of vanilla to get rid of egg smell(although it had none!)I'll, add nuts,raisins,& bake for maybe 55min.but any way my familly loved it even my grandmother.I WAS TOO PROUD THAT MY MOM ASKED FOR THE RECIPE TO ENROLL IN HER "TRIED & TRUSTED RECIPES",thanx again for sharing this lovely recipe...:)
