Chocolate Chip Crispy Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2009
I made quite a few changes because I don't have rice krispies. I put Reece Puffs instead for the cereal, and only 2 small handfulls. Then, i had some extra pecan peices to use up, so i threw those in too. A little extra vanilla (about 1/2 tsp) added a bit of extra flavor. I kept one batch in for the suggested 12 mintues, and left a seperate batch in for about 14 minutes to see which was better. I liked the 14 minute batch, they are crispier (but that may not be what you like) All in all a good recipe!

The Best Banana Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2010
I gave this 5 stars because it was exactly what I was looking for - ingredients I had in my kitchen; easy; quick. And, a great banana bread! I loved how moist it was, and my brother and boyfriend loved it. Maybe next time i'll add some vanilla, or a little more banana.

Aloo Phujia

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2010
Good recipe, loved the flavour. I did not find that the dish is particularily good with rice as there was not enough liquid. Also, I added garlic, which was great. Overall I will most likely be making this again.

Chunky Potato Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2010
Wow. Great soup. I used the red russet potatos - I needed 5 of them. I probably underestimated the onions, and would have loved to try it with the cheese, but didn't have any. I am so happy with the result! Perfect comfort food. I also added dill.

Pumpkin Loaf

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2010
I give it a 5 simply because my bread was a 5 - but i did it ALL WRONG. First off, I didn't have any margarine, so I used butter. Then, I didn't have any baking powder, so I just left it as the soda. Didn't have any pumkin, but I put pumpkin pie filling in and it made aperfect sub. Of course I didn't put any spices in because the pie filling had enough. I also didn't have any salt. Believe it of not - it turned out AMAZING. I'll be using my version every year I think :)

Easy Indian Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2010
Great butter chicken, I tried the light version. It was a little runny but I added some corn starch and it was fantastic!

Pesto Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2010
Wonderful. A nice variation to grilled cheese; easy; tasty I put mozza instead of american cheese. I had some extra pesto and provolone from another recipe so this is great! THanks

Vegetarian Refried Beans

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2012
I did a few things differently, but they turned out pretty good. I omitted the tomato, put in just a little bit more garlic, and used half water and half chicken broth for flavour. I also made mexican rice with this, so when I was adding liquid to achieve the consistency, I used some of the juice from the diced tomatoes I used in the rice. Overall a great recipe.
