Mayonnaise Biscuits

I am a challenged baker, I never have the right ingredients since I don't do much baking. I used AP Flour, milk, and mayo and a sprinkle of kosher salt, no baking powder because I don't have any. My biscuits were boring(but thats because of the flour, I am going to get some self rising and try again), but it made delicious little donut holes. Moist and delicious! I just dropped small amounts in to low-medium high hot oil and fried for about 30 seconds each side. They were loved by all!!

Pumpkin Soup

I prepared as directed except i used canned pumpkin and 2 extra cloves of garlic and it was very bland, i'm not sure what I did wrong.

Amber's Sesame Chicken

this was great, i added about 2 tbsp maple syrup and doubled the honey and tripled the teriyaki sauce, and garlic powder for the sauce, then brushed it on to the chicken and let the chicken marinade for about an hour, then i breaded it in flour, sesame seed, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and more garlic powder, i lightly breaded each chicken breast tender and then baked it for about 1/2 an hour at 400, i turned it once 1/2 way through...and i sauted the onions and peppers in the same sauce and added them when i turned the chicken. When it was done i removed the chicken and added a cup of chicken broth to the baking dish and scraped the pan and mixed it all together, it was delicious!! I served with white rice, green beans, and home made egg rolls that a friend made. Thanks so much.

Angel's Chunky Chicken Salad

by itself I'm sure this was great, but since my pregnancy hormones are everywhere and I was craving some roasted red bell peppers and a little spice I modified a bit. I boiled the chicken with roasted red bell peppers, the ends of one celery, garlic powder, pepper and sea salt. For the salad I pureed one big roasted bell pepper strip and 3 cloves of garlic with pepper and italian seasoning. In the bowl I mixed the puree, 1 celery stalk chopped finely, 1 tsp of sweet relish, 1 dill sandwich stacker chopped finely, 1/2 of a red onion chopped, and about 3 tbsp of mayo, I stuck in the freezer for about 20 min to chill it and then served it on croissants with tomato and avocados, it was delicious. Thanks so much for sharing your recipe without it I wasn't sure where to start but with it I made something great and something that I will have to keep making bc the baby loved it.

Best Green Bean Casserole

this is basically how i make mine but i use the frozen green beans you steam and then i saute them with fresh onions, garlic and salt and pepper with butter and then mix the soup, cheese, 1/2 the fried onions and bake, it gives the green beans such great flavor

Bum's Lunch

We made this last night and it was great I added a few things, like Worcestershire, crushed cloves of garlic, instead of regular salt I used seasoned salt, and also bell peppers, it was great meat had good flavor and it was very tender.

Hamburger Soup III

We enjoyed making this soup, we added diced carrots, 1 potato, fresh minced garlic, red bell pepper and a red fresno pepper for a little heat, i sauteed all the veggies except the can corn and the tomatoes with the meat and then added 2 26oz cartons of beef stock, I also used creole season, seasoning salt and worchestshire to the meat mixture, we topped it with german gouda cheese(we are in Germany) and ate it with fresh baked german bread and butter and then i stirred in a little sour cream in my kids bowls bc they complained about the spice but it made it really yummy so next time i will be adding sour cream to my own as well. Oh instead of stewed tomatoes i used petite diced and no peas just a can of corn. This recipe is such a great simple base recipe that you can change things up and make it to your liking, thanks so much Laurie for posting it.
