Cranberry Hootycreeks

The cranberries and white chocolate go together so well! I do have a hard time filling up the jar when I make this but it doesn't stop me.

Greek-Style Stuffed Peppers

I didn't have white wine but tried this with red and it turned out lovely! I made more than we could eat so tried freezing some for left overs but the frozen ones came out watery.

Pumpkin Pancakes

I may have done something wrong because mine looked nothing like the picture and were WAY too thick. I tried adding milk after having mixed them up and discovering they were too thick but they were still too thick. I will not try this one again. The flavor was okay.

Simple Baked Apples

I used honey crisp apples which were flavorful and crisp and have been baking well in other things but this recipe was too spicey. Might have been better with more apples

Tortilla Soup II

This soup was a big hit at my house! Best served with sour cream of course. When I feel too lazy I don't bother cooking the tortillas or I use corn chips instead. Also good with a can of beans added. I have started making this based on what I have around and I am trying to keep all the ingredients in stock!

Bread Machine Cardamom Bread

This is a nice semidense loaf. I added extra cardamom but as I use whole cardamom it is hard to say how much. Every thing else is just right! We will be making this all the time. Very good with white chocolate marzipan spread on it.

Easy Batter Fruit Cobbler

Very easy, I used cherries and I think next time I will use about twice as many. This was best right out of the oven but okay after a few hours. I think we will just be sure to eat the whole thing every time I make it.

Peachy Ginger Soup

I used fresh ginger but it still just tasted like peaches pureed with cream. I doubt I will be making this again but if I do i will add more ginger and maybe some other things. I prefer peaches with whipped cream on top.

Southern Pulled Pork

I didn't have cajun seasoning so I used a meat rub that I had on hand and I added a lot more garlic but maybe only 3 cups water. I did keep the onoin bits in with the pork for sandwhiches and it was great. Also is very nice served on cheesey kieser rolls.

Easy French Dip Sandwiches

If the meat has fat it will shrink up and look less yummy. It would be better with steak or prime rib slices. My husband liked it and then joked about it seeming fancy eventhough it is mostly made from left overs. The next day I made the same thing but as cold sandwhiches and he said he liked it a lot better the other way. This is good with cooked onions (I added cooked mushrooms to his too) and I think it was better that way. I will make this again many times.

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

These cookies are hard and not really cookie consistancy. It was fun to try but the end result was not good and I will not be making them again. I think the cookies might have been less fragile if they were smaller but I made exactly 1 dozen. If I were to make these again I would make them about the size of a quarter. I think I would also add less sugar and some vanilla as others have.

Baked Yam Fries with Dip

I would make this again and like that you can use more or less yams and it stays the same. I like my fries crispy though and that effect can be hard to get this way. I made sure to slice mine thin and baked at 400 but some on the edges burned. I will use an airbake pan next time I cook them. I also used a package mix of mango curry dip instead of tacco so not sure how that will taste. I think most dips would be good with this.
