Spaghetti Italian

Very good and very easy to make. My whole family really liked this, so I will make it again. I did use fresh garlic instead of powdered and didn't have bay leaves on hand so had to omit them, but the sauce was good just the same.

Pumpkin Bread VI

This recipe is true to it's word...it is moist and has a nice texture, but it is rather bland as written. I will make this again, but next time I will add more spices. A 1/4 teaspoon just isn't enough.

Best Spanish Rice

Excellent recipe! Very easy and tasty. And the best part is these are basic ingredients I always have on hand. One tip, take the time to brown the rice, it is worth it for the added flavor.

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

I made these today and everyone loved them. I didn't chill the dough nor did I flatted them with a sugared fork and they were great. I added raisins, pecans and choco chips...YUM. This will be my go to recipe for oatmeal cookies.

White Chili with Chicken

Made this tonight and everyone loved it. I sauteed the onions then added flour to make a roux, boiled till thick then added everything else. Delicious, great flavor. Will be making this again!

Sweet Cornbread Cake

Finally I found a recipe I cornbread that is delicious! Wonderful texture, doesn't crumble to nothing like most cornbreads....so moist! This ones a keeper.

Caramelized Baked Chicken

Very yummy! After reading some other reviews I made a few changes....I added a cornstarch/water slurry to thicken it once it came to a boil. Also reduced the honey by half. I poured it over boneless/skinless chicken thighs and baked. It was a huge hit, everyone loved it and wants me to make it again soon. Would be great served over rice.

Buttermilk Pancakes II

Finally! I have found my go to recipe for buttermilk pancakes! Made these as written and they were perfect, fluffy and delicious. I got 20 BIG pancakes, sprinkled fresh blueberries while cooking....perfect!!

When I read this recipe, my first thought was....Mayo? On garlic bread? Gross. But OMG is it YUMMY! Forget butter, this is the way I will make garlic bread from now on! So good! Everyone loved it.

Salsa Chicken Burrito Filling

Very Good. I boiled a whole chicken till it was fall-off the bone tender, shredded it, doubled all the rest of the ingredients except the taco seasoning and simmered everything for 30 min. Made 6 giant burritos. Add cheese and sour cream....YUM-O!

Teriyaki Turkey Meatballs

I am always on the look-out for recipes that calls for ground turkey, as I don't eat red meat, and this one is a winner! I used whole wheat bread cause that's what I had on hand, followed the recipe....and YUM-O! Will be making these again.

Banana Pancakes I

My family loves breakfast for dinner, so I made these last night, served with fresh fruit and turkey bacon. I doubled the recipe, followed it exactly as written. The batter was rather thin, so next time I will decrease the milk....but they are delicious! Everyone loved them. I will definitely make these again.

Sweet Restaurant Slaw

Made this last night to serve today, July 4th, and it was a big hit. I followed the recipe to a T, but did add about a teaspoon of celery seed. This is my go-to recipe for slaw. One interesting note....did anyone realize bags of shredded cabbage is 14oz, not 16oz? Like so many other things, pay more for less! :-)
