Mother's Day Pie

Minnesota Golf Course Chili

Not your TYPICAL chili! I added 8 oz. of fresh cliced mushrooms and a 1/2 tsp. of red pepper flakes (Why not? It is already different). Everyone loved it! In fact, I made it twice in one week. I have never made the same meal two times in a week.....It is good.

Chicken-Stuffed Shells with Sherry Sauce

This is a fantastic way to prepare stuffed shells. Rich and delicious. Time consuming (longer than prep time indicates)but worth all the compliments that come with this meal!! A great recipe!

Beef Stroganoff III

Very good...a bit salty for my taste. I wouldn't add the salt to the meat when I make this again. Canned mushrooms are out of the question on this one! I added sliced mushrooms when I added the broth. Also, DO NOT add red wine! You will end up with an unattractive pink mess...not many people like that!!!

Fra Diavolo Sauce With Pasta

I can't believe that I hadn't rated this recipe after making it a dozen times. Simple, delicious, and always gets great reviews. Makes a great last-minute company dish. I do decrease the pepper just a little and add just a tad bit more garlic. MMMMMM!

Sherry and Brie Soup

A definite 5 star!!! This is such a delicious and impressive soup. I served it for friends in individual bread bowls and everyone LOVED it! Seconds were had by all and they could have ate more if I had made more! Next time I make this, which will be soon, I will cut back on the brie, add more mushrooms and use the lowest sodium broth I can find. It was a bit too salty for my taste. However, don't let that put you off. It is a scrumptious must try!!!!!

Crab Quiche I

Easy and delicious. I took this to work and it was gone in 5 minutes. I made a second one for a low-carb dieter and he couldn't thank me enought. Here is how: I added another egg, 1 extra tsp. four, a little pepper and dash of garlic powder. Sprayed the pie pan with non-stick spray and didn't use a pie crust. Cook until set and serve on lettuce. GREAT RECIPE!

Blueberry Boy Bait

This is one of the best recipes I have tried from this site!!!! I took this to work and EVERYONE in the office wanted the recipe (the cake was gone in 10 minutes.) Just GREAT! I used 2 cups of fresh blueberries. OUTSTANDING.

Fish Chowder

Easy and wonderful. A great base for any number of seafood chowders. I doubled the old bay and added all the extras to my liking. A big hit! Have made serveral varitions and each is DELICIOUS! Thanks!

Beef Tenderloin With Roasted Shallots

This is TOO FUNNY...I went to the store after work(Valentine's Day) and the few remaining shallots could have passed as raisins. I salvaged what I could. Beef tenderloin was "SOLD OUT" (I am beginning to sweat. I figured EVERYONE must be making this for their Valentine.) I substituted with pork tenderloin. I get home...the oven, only a year old, BREAKS DOWN. AHHHHH! I was determined to maked this as the special dinner. I prepared ALL OF IT on the range top (pan roasting and other creative methods) and it was WONDERFUL. My Valentine was more than impressed! MAKE THIS DISH. IT IS VERY FORGIVING!

Chicken Pepper Steak

All Day Versatile Sauce

This is truly the most wonderful sauce! My new all-time favorite!!!! I have gotten dozens and dozens of recipes from allrecipes.com and this is BY FAR the one that got the best reaction! It is lick-the-plate good!! I did add 1/2 tsp. of celery salt...YUM! Make this and you will be hooked. Thank you for sharing this recipe NAN!
