Traditional Macaroni and Cheese

Quick and easy to make. My eleven year old asks for it frequently. I make a batch and he can re heat after school for a snack.

This recipes went together quickly. My family went for seconds. I added beans for the added protein. I definately will do this one again. The basic recipe is easy to add on to and personalize to suit your family needs.

Ambrosia Fruit Salad

This ambrosia almost brought me to tears. My mom passed away a few years ago, and this salad reminded me of her holiday salad (minus the coconut). It was easy, flavorful, and will be made for many holiday's to come (minus coconut and spice)

Taco Soup I

the recipe went together easily. I like using one pot. This is a great meal for the family.... evryone likes tacos so this just puts a new spin on a family fav. Had to make a few alterations, but it worked and was a huge success.

All American Apple Pie

Out of the oven about one hour and already half of it is gone. Very quick and easy.... I love the ease of the dough. I would use less sugar on the filling net run through. I will make this again...

Mom's Best Meatloaf

loved it, I had to substitute grape nuts ceral for the corn meal. It sounds strange, but it was a successful. Everyone loved the topping. It had the right amount smoke, sweet and zip. I will be making this again.

Slow Cooker Barbecue Ribs

wow! easy to make, had to make a few alterations to avoid another trip to the grocery. My husbands first words, after his first bite,"this is a keeper!" The meat was tender and full of flavor. The children asked for more.... This recipe is definatley a win.
