Sweet and Spicy Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2010
Very good. Probably used too much sugar because I mis read the amount but I'll get it right next time. They were sweet and spicy! Will definately make again!

Easy Meatloaf

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2010
This is the blandest meatloaf I ever had. My husband liked it but he had ketchup all over it. I guess I'll try it again w/ something the spice it up. I also broiled a few min at the end of cooking to get the glaze to not be so runny. It's hard to believe 733 review w/ 4 1/2 stars?

Chinese Chicken Fried Rice II

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2010
Used sesame oil. Gives it more of an asian flavor. Also I was just making plain fried rice. The second time I made it I upped the egg to 2. Which my family prefers. Also used a lot more soy than what it said to add. Didn't add chicken as I was making as a side of plain fried rice. Very good dish. And YES rice must be cold!

Pork Chops for the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2010
Very good. I did make some changes as some suggested. I probably doubled ketchup & brown sugar.... I also added honey over the top because I thought the soy seemed a little overwhelming. I cooked on high for 2 hours and low for 2 and stired around a few times. They came out very tender and tasty. Everyone liked them.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2009
Maybe I'm just used to processed foods. These were just ok I thought. Seemed a little dry and maybe needed a little more sweetness. I did use frozen bberries but that shouldn't make that much difference. Don't think I'll make again. My husband loved the topping.

Layered Chicken and Black Bean Enchilada Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2009
I didn't really like how the sour cream was just blobbed on top. It tasted good. My husband said he would eat it again and I would only make it if someone wanted it. I pan fried my white corn tortillas because I wanted a little firmness to them. I'll try yellow corn if I do make it again. I thought it was bland overall too. Used lots of hot sauce.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2009
This was my first lasagna so i could do better layering next time but I thought it was very very good. I didn't have all the ingredients to make the sauce so I just used two jars of premade and that cut down on the cook time also. Will try the right way next time.

Chicken Zucchini Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2009
Really good. I only used 1/8 cup of butter with the 1/2 cup of stuffing on top. And I left out the butter else where but then worried it would dry out so I melted another 1/4 to 1/2 cup and drizzled it over. I don't think I needed to do that. It is very dense and I think I might hold the chicken and use as a side dish. Also I added a lot of pepper after. But I did really enjoy it.

Hearty Beef Enchiladas

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2009
Very good! I added green chiles and probably extra cheese. And I did NoT deep fry the tortillas. They were plenty soft. The 28 servings is probably a typo. I will make these again very soon!

Stuffed Peppers

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2009
These were ok. I require a little thicker sauce. I would make it with the meat mixture uncooked next time and put it in the pepper - cut in half long way and then cook it. Very difficult to baste standing up.

Double Tomato Bruschetta

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2009
Yummy! I didn't have a bagette so I used italian bread. I should have toasted both sides prior to adding tomatoes. I'll know next time how to make it better. It was still really good.
