White Chocolate Macadamia Cranberry Dreams
I gave an assortment of homemade cookies to my daughter and her family for Christmas. These cookies rated highest and received the most compliments among the varieties I made. They were easy to make, and yummy to eat. I will certainly be making them again. P.S. no substitutes, I stuck to the recipe. Also I premeasured everything for the recipes ahead of time, put them in storage containers, and labelled them according to the recipe. I taped the recipes to my upper kitchen cupboard doors, and set the ingreds. on the counter below them, respectively. The day I baked, everything was ready to go. Just mix and bake! Wet ingreds. were premeasured and labelled for refrigeration until needed as well.

Slow Cooker Apple Crisp
Wouldn't have believed you could make apple crisp in a crock pot, but this recipe proves it to be true. My hints/tips: I sliced a 3 lb. of Ida Red apples, put in a large ziploc bag along with 1/2 cup br. sugar, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, 1/4 tsp. nutmeg and 1 tblsp. cornstarch. Close bag and shake to coat apples well. I took contents of the bag and put in an even layer in crock pot. I made my own topping using 1 1/4 cup rolled oats(not instant), 3/4 cup br. sugar, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon & 1/4 tsp nutmeg. Cut in 1/2 cup of room temp. butter and knead with fingers until crumbly. Spread evenly over apples and baked according to instructions. Leaving the lid off really does make the "crisp" yummy! Served it with french vanilla ice cream. Happy for seconds!

Slow Cooker Cranberry Pork
Served it to friends and they loved it. I, along with other reviewers, seasoned roast with olive oil, crushed garlic, salt and pepper overnight in a ziploc bag. I wouldn't hesitate to make it again. Sliced beautifully!
